WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated the Q&A section of jrsbarbq.com discussing topics in the news, including a recent change to WWE's Wellness Policy, the possibility of John Cena vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania, and JBL's non-future in wrestling.

-- Ross addressed the report from the Wrestling Observer this week that WWE has banned the prescription drug Carisoprodol (a/k/a Somas) as part of a revision to their Wellness Policy.

"I think that it's a great idea," Ross said. "Too many wrestlers took/take Somas recreactionally much like wrestlers used to smoke weed in the '70s. Prescription pill abuse is a huge enemy of all wrestlers who abuse them. Pain medicine, Somas, ambien, and xanax are an evil mixture especially when mixed with alcohol and taken in excess."

Caldwell's Analysis: It's a good move, but it's also a classic reactionary move on WWE's part. It has potential to do more damage than good until WWE fixes the real problem, which is creating a mandatory off-season allowing wrestlers to naturally rest and heal their bodies. This could be a good development, but it might be rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic if they don't address the root causes more proactively.

-- John Cena has hinted at a potential match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 27, but Ross says he does not believe the match is likely.

"I guess any thing is possible and WM27 needs a HUGE attraction. I would say Cena vs. Undertaker is not likely to happen in Atlanta but I really don't know," Ross said. "I still say Undertaker will retire undefeated at Wrestlemania."

-- Considering JBL has been off TV for over a year-and-a-half, JBL's name has came up in the guessing game of who could be one of the unknown figures on Raw - the mystery Raw GM or Nexus's "higher power." Ross said he doesn't see JBL returning in any capacity.

"JBL has successfully moved away from the wrestling biz and I would be shocked if he wanted to re-enter it," he said. "As much as many fans want to see managers return, I feel it simply isn't going to happen to any significant degree if at all."

-- On Wednesday, Jim Ross appeared on the "Sean and John" sports radio talk show on 1560 AM in Houston primarily to discuss Oklahoma football and also talk about his travel schedule for WWE over the next week.

Ross said he will be traveling to Chicago for the Night of Champions PPV on Sunday to work behind-the-scenes with the announcers in preparation for the PPV broadcast.

Ross said he's scheduled to make a semi-regular trip to WWE's Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory in Tampa from Tuesday through Thursday.
