The following are key news and notes from tonight's episode of WWE Raw completing the short build-up to the Hell in a Cell PPV on Sunday, October 3.

-- WWE referred to TNA wrestler Mick Foley's forthcoming autobiography, "Countdown to Lockdown," on the air during Raw. Raw announcer Michael Cole plugged Foley's book (without saying the letters "TNA") and noted Foley writes about his time on Smackdown as color commentator.

There were other TNA wrestler name-drops during Raw. Chris Jericho had a pre-main event promo listing all of the wrestlers he's competed against during his career. The list of TNA wrestlers he name-dropped on the air included Ric Flair, Sting, and Kevin Nash. Jericho also referenced recent TNA wrestlers Scott Hall and Booker T.

-- Chris Jericho was essentially written off TV for the time being after the Raw main event against WWE champion Randy Orton. Orton was scripted to deliver his trademark Punt, which signals an injury angle for the recipient.

-- WWE officially announced appearances by John Cena and Nexus on the live Smackdown premiere this Friday leading to the Hell in a Cell PPV.

-- U.S. champion Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz vs. John Morrison in a Submissions Count Anywhere match was added to the Hell in a Cell PPV line-up on Sunday. (Updated PPV line-up.)

-- Edge hosted a Cutting Edge segment with the anonymous Raw GM as the "guest." WWE scripted the segment to have the GM speak through a modulated voice to cover his/her identity. After Edge lost to John Cena, Edge bashed the Raw GM laptop to continue advancing the Edge vs. GM feud.

-- WWE teased they will reveal the "love interest" of Ted DiBiase and/or Maryse on next week's Raw.

-- The WWE Tag Titles are now officially the Unified WWE Tag Titles. Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre retained the titles over former champions Hart Dynasty in a re-match from Night of Champions. After the match, HD members Tyson Kidd and D.H. Smith teased tension.

-- Natalya won a Divas Battle Royal to become #1 contender to the Unified Divas Title, which is currently held by Michelle McCool and Layla. WWE did not announce when the title match will be held.

-- WWE announced Johnny Knoxville will be the "guest star" on next week's October 4 Raw following the PPV.
