"The Rock" Dwayne Johnson briefly promoted his pro wrestling return on TBS's "Lopez Tonight" Wednesday night. Most notable was George Lopez flashing back to a clip of Rock as Flex Kavana in the USWA during the mid-1990s.

The two-part segment initially began with Rock discussing the NFL lockout, his college football career at the University of Miami, and studying criminology in college.

Lopez then mentioned Rock coming back to wrestling, which drew a strong reaction from the studio audience. After a "Rocky, Rocky" chant and a People's Eyebrow, Rock gave his standard response on coming back to pro wrestling because he "loves the business" and he's "passionate about it."

Rock said he achieved everything he wanted to in wrestling before becoming a full-time actor. He said now he wants to "give back" by helping create the "People's WrestleMania" in his hometown of Miami.

Rock did not mention facing John Cena, unlike Tuesday night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," where he went into more detail on his wrestling return.

Lopez then introduced a "vintage" clip from Rock's early wrestling career wrestling Jerry Lawler in the USWA. Lopez chided Rock for his look at the time before they cut to break.

Back from break, Rock plugged the "Fast Five" movie release next weekend. They were interrupted by a sound effect prompting a 4/20 take-off bit.

Rock said he does not condone drug use, so they would be blowing everyone's minds with facts and knowledge. In the style of Conan O'Brien's "In The Year 2000" bits, the camera went back and forth to Lopez and Rock in close-up shots providing useless facts meant to "blow your mind."

That concluded the two-part segment. At the top of the show, Lopez and Rock had an introductory bit playing up Lopez's Lucha Libre fandom. Rock tongue-in-cheek ribbed Lopez for his ill-fated Lucha career, prompting Lopez to flash a mock 8x10 wrestling photo of him as "El Sucio."
