WWE Raw news & notes 10/3

-- Raw concluded with the latest chapter of the WWE locker room opposing on-air COO Triple H by "walking out" on Raw after giving Hunter a "vote of no confidence." Absent from the segment were a handful of top stars such as John Cena, Randy Orton, and C.M. Punk. The final man to "walk out" was Raw announcer Jim Ross. After Hunter's authority figure nemesis, John Laurinaitis, walked out on-stage to give Hunter the final vote of no confidence, Raw concluded with Hunter center-ring, alone, being applauded by a sympathetic crowd.

-- The Raw announce team during the broadcast was Michael Cole, Jim Ross, and Booker T. Jerry Lawler returned for the final segment to suggest to Triple H that someone else is pulling the strings behind the scenes. He then walked out on Hunter with a vote of no confidence.

-- The main event, which preceded the final segment, was a 12-man tag match that went 30 minutes and was won by the babyface group of Cena, Punk, Sheamus, Mason Ryan, and Air Boom over the heel group of Alberto Del Rio, Cody Rhodes, David Otunga, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, and Christian. The heels were labeled babies by Triple H to promote the anti-union message promoted by WWE within the storyline. Also, earlier in the show when listing the participants in the 12-man tag match, Hunter left off Mason Ryan's name.

-- WWE played YouTube footage from The Miz and R-Truth saying they plan to "file a lawsuit" against Triple H for "wrongful termination," which came across like an attempt by WWE to turn reality into fiction to control the message considering WWE is being sued by independent wrestler Devon Nicholson for wrongful termination of his developmental contract.

-- The big item announced for Friday's Smackdown is the return of Big Show to confront World Hvt. champion Mark Henry.

-- WWE spent the first half-hour of the show focusing on the Orton-Henry feud. The show opened with Orton defeating Drew McIntyre, then Henry and Orton brawled ringside, then Henry defeated John Morrison, and Henry concluded the segment with a promo on Orton and Big Show.

-- WWE ran a Brodus Clay vignette pointing to his TV return after being reintroduced in squash match victories on Superstars, which no longer airs in the U.S.

-- During Raw, WWE aired the entire PPV-concluding angle from the Hell in a Cell PPV on Sunday night, rending the HIAC PPV a $45-55 extension of Raw storylines.

-- No matches were announced for the Vengeance PPV in three weeks.
