Nearly two years removed from his retirement at WrestleMania 26, WWE Hall of Fame Shawn Michaels says he still has no desire to return to the ring.

Asked on ESPN Radio's "Fantasy Baseball Focus" podcast if he's tempted to return to action, Michaels said, "No. I haven't been. I'm at a phenomenal place in my life." Michaels then talked up his family, said they're not tired of him being at home, he has his Outdoor Channel show, and he enjoys performing for WWE on occasion, but he enjoys being at home. Michaels added, "It's very nice to have that option of every now and then giving you a call and them having an idea."

Michaels played up his special referee role for The Undertaker vs. Triple H at WrestleMania 28, describing the storyline aspect of him being used to having the spotlight at Mania, which could affect how he "officiates" the match.

"There's a chance - I can tell you here that I'm going to try to be objective, but then you get out there and then I'm in a conflict with myself - I'm Mr. Hall of Fame and I'm Mr. WrestleMania and I'm so used to having the spotlight on me - am I going to be able to share it with these other two guys? That is a lot to put on a man," Michaels said, being playful at the end. Michaels also joked that he'll have to review the Hell in a Cell rulebook, but at least he can still count to three. "My children help me out with that on a regular basis," Michaels added.

Michaels, hyping the actual Mania main event of John Cena vs. The Rock, said he's in favor of the direction WWE, Rock, and Cena have gone with the feud. Drawing from his "personal feud" with Bret Hart during the Attitude Era, Michaels said he thinks this is good for business. He added that he feels WWE has lost "that kind of competition" on the whole.

"Sometimes, I feel like WWE has lost that in a lot of respects. John and Rock have brought back what somebody like me used to do on a regular basis back in the day," Michaels said. "I think it's refreshing, it's good, good for business, and good for them to bring out the best in each other. There's nothing wrong with making it personal; that's better business, whether people like it or not."

Also during the interview, Michaels talked about his WrestleMania 28 raffle to benefit the military. Michaels said he's very passionate about helping the military, and the raffle will assist soldiers as they return home from war.
