2012 WWE Hall of Fame headliner Edge talked to the Miami New Times publication ( MiamiNewTimes.com ) about his Hall of Fame induction, retirement, Christian, and his future in wrestling in an in-depth interview. The following are highlights.

-- Edge said he's content with all of his accomplishments during his career, but, in a perfect world, would have liked two more matches on his resume.

"I wanted to wrestle Bret Hart, but he was already retired, so that wasn't a possibility," Edge said. "Perfect world -- retiring in a match against Christian in Toronto at a WrestleMania would have obviously been great." Edge concluded, though, "Retiring at Mania as the World Champ is a pretty good way to go. I'll take that."

-- In the interview, which was conducted before Monday's Raw when Christian was scratched from WrestleMania due to his lingering ankle injury, Edge said he was looking forward to just watching WrestleMania, especially Christian's involvement in the 12-man tag match. Edge noted he usually had responsibility for calling the matches, which made WrestleMania Sunday even more stressful.

"I'll just be watching from up in a guest suite or something, relaxing and feeling no pressure whatsoever and enjoying it with my family. It will be the first time I've been able to do that," Edge said. "I'm always at WrestleMania running around like a chicken with its head cut off, getting everything finalized. Honestly, a lot of the responsibility for the matches fell to my shoulders."

-- Edge suggested he could take that responsibility and transition into a backstage producer/agent role once he settles into retirement, although he "doesn't want to do anything that involves being out for extended periods anymore." His other option would be talent scout looking for potential new developmental wrestlers.

"I'd rather be a manager from the sidelines at home. I've always been close with Dolph Ziggler and I've really enjoyed his work. He'll call me and ask me stuff, and I'm happy to tell him what I think. I was tired of the road, so I can maybe see doing something like that more than being on the road again," Edge said.

-- Concerning his TV/on-camera future, Edge said he begins filming scenes for Syfy's "Haven" on April 18, and he may also appear on a WWE Network show.

"I'm doing season three of Haven," Edge said, "then I've got a couple of ideas blowing around that could end up on the Network, but it wouldn't really involve acting. I think maybe just going around, talking to kids about Be a STAR, something like that."
