Fitting of WrestleMania 28 with a compact eight-match PPV line-up, this year's WWE Hall of Fame class features a smaller class of six inductees. The difference between this year and past years, though, is the first group induction featuring Four Horsemen members Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham, and long-time manager J.J. Dillon.

The Horsemen group, starring TNA wrestler Flair, will share the main event spotlight with Edge (Adam Copeland), who will be inducted into the Hall one year after announcing his abrupt retirement from pro wrestling following WM27. Edge follows the trend set by Shawn Michaels, who was inducted into the HOF last year after retiring at WM26.

Portions of the Horsemen & Edge inductions will be featured on WWE's one-hour Hall of Fame special airing Monday night before Raw on USA Network. Also featured in the TV broadcast will be boxing Hall of Famer Mike Tyson, who has been present throughout WrestleMania Weekend events in Miami.

Tyson's induction will also give DX members Shawn Michaels and Triple H the spotlight as inductors one night before Michaels referees Hunter's WrestleMania match against The Undertaker. Portions of the induction with DX will then air the day-after-Mania before the Raw TV fall-out.

The second-half of the HOF line-up includes former college football & WWE/WCW/NWA star Ron Simmons, who will re-unite on-stage with former APA tag partner JBL. Also, the first Lucha Libre inductee, Mil Mascaras, will be inducted by his nephew, former WWE champion Alberto Del Rio.

The only deceased wrestler in this year's Hall of Fame class is former WWF champion Yokozuna (Rodney Anoaʻi), who will be inducted by family members The Usos.

The Hall of Fame ceremony will be held at the American Airlines Arena in Miami Saturday night, with a scheduled start time of 8:00 p.m. EST.
