WWE Smackdown SPOILERS 5/4

-- WWE's Smackdown TV taping can be best described as erratic and "card subject to change."

Barring a change in post-production, Friday's show will feature two editions of World Hvt. champion Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan fresh off their two-out-of-three falls title match at Extreme Rules. In the final match, Sheamus retained the World Title over Bryan after #1 contender Alberto Del Rio caused a distraction.

-- Del Rio remains #1 contender to the World Title, but WWE did not officially announce any new matches for the Over the Limit PPV in three weeks (two weeks by the time the episode airs). It appears WWE is setting up Sheamus vs. Del Rio for the PPV, though.

-- The main event tag match that was advertised during Raw was changed to Randy Orton & Big Show vs. IC champion Cody Rhodes & Kane. Orton & Show won in a match that ended up pitting Extreme Rules opponents against each other in a tag match situation.

-- Brodus Clay continued his unbeaten streak by defeating Jack Swagger in a match that was taped twice during the Smackdown taping.

-- Damien Sandow teased making his in-ring debut, but - playing up his heel character - decided the audience was unfit to witness him in the ring. Sandow's scheduled opponent, Derrick Bateman, was then squashed by Ryback.

-- New WWE tag champions Kofi Kingston & R-Truth came over from the Raw brand to defeat Hunico & Camacho. Former tag champs Primo & Epico scouted the match.

-- Claudio Castagnoli (Antonio Cesaro in WWE) did not wrestle during the taping. He appeared in a backstage segment getting "oiled down" by Teddy Long.
