In addition to releasing May's monthly business figures on their corporate website, WWE updated their Investor Presentation document this month. Included is some interesting information in-between quarterly reports.

- During WrestleMania Season from January 1 to March 31, the largest TV viewing demographic was people over the age of 50. This represented one-third (33 percent) of the viewing audience.

The next largest demographic was ages 18-34 (24 percent), then ages 35-49 (22 percent), and younger than 18 (21 percent). Despite WWE's PG-TV product being aimed at younger viewers, that demographic made up the smallest slice of the pie during Mania Season.




Also from January to March, the viewing audience was 64 percent male and 36 percent female, which captures The Rock Factor. As a result, WWE boasted that "more women are watching WWE programming than the top women-centric networks," such as TLC, Oxygen, and WE.

- When WWE Network launches, WWE will include Network revenue in the the Live/TV category, joining PPV, Live Events, and TV Rights Revenue. This is subject to change, but it appears WWE Network will not have its own business segment like WWE Studios.

As part of the plan for the Network to air 11 of 12 PPVs events, only leaving WrestleMania as a standalone PPV event, WWE is acknowledging that PPV revenue will "decline with network launch."

According to WWE's chart, PPV Revenue made up 17 percent of total revenue in 2012. Using the performance of this year's WrestleMania as a guide, the PPV Revenue category would decrease to 10-12 percent of the annual total. WWE aims to make up for the PPV decline with the "launch of a potential WWE Network driving incremental revenue."




- Latin America is no longer viewed as a rapidly-growing market. Rather, WWE anticipates the "Europe, Middle East, and Africa" category to be WWE's next big territory beyond 2015, specifically in the countries of China and India.
