DGUSA Internet PPV Report
April 2, 2011
Atlanta, Ga.
Report by Sean Radican, PWTorch columnist

Torch columnist Sean Radican is live-Tweeting on tonight's DGUSA Internet PPV at Twitter.com/SeanRadican.

(1) Jon Moxley beat Arik Cannon. Moxley wins with a cradle. Sky came out after the match, but got laid out.

(2) Elimination Match: Jimmy Jacobs vs. Brodie Lee (WINNER) vs. Stalker Ichickawa vs. Silas Young vs. AR Fox vs. Jon Davis. Davis killed Stalker with a clothesline for the first elimination. Fox stealing the show here with his high flying. Jacobs pins Fox after an ace crusher. Young eliminated via End Time submission. Lee gives Davis the big boot and Jacobs pins Jim with a crucifix. Lee pins Jacobs with the truck stop. This was fantastic. (***)

The venue looks packed. Cannon promo. He talked about the ups and downs. He said he got fucked tonight. He said he would do things his way.

(3) Sami Callihan vs. Open the Dream Gate champion Masato Yoshino (WINNER). Callihan dominating the action so far. Yoshino fired back with the sling blade and the crowd is hot. Callihan hits a jumping piledriver for a nearfall. Really good pace to this match. Yoshino wins with sol naciente submission. This was very good. (***1/4)

Callihan got on the mic and said he's done f-ing around. What's up with all the foul language?

Moxley is on the mic backstage. He said Aries is out of style. He said Aries would be out of DGUSA forever after tonight. I can't do justice to how awesome Moxley was here.

(4) Open the Brave Gate Champion PAC (WINNER) vs. Akira Tozawa. Good feeling put process to start the match. Tozawa maintains control and hits a big standing senton for a two count. PAC fires back and boots Tozawa in the face during his diving headbutt spot. Tozawa did his triple suicide dive spot, but instead of a third he hit a senton off the apron. Great heat for this spot. Tozawa hit a rolling German for two count. PAC fired back and hit a springboard missile dropkick. He followed up with a second to Tozawa's back for a nearfall.

PAC hit a springboard 450 and the crowd went nuts when Tozawa kicked out at the last second. Huge back and forth exchange and Tozawa is down after nailing PAC with a running kick. Crowd going nuts. This is crazy! What a tremendous spot ending with both men down after PAC kicked Tozawa in the head while he was on his knees. Oh man, PAC kicked out of the avalanche German. After a series of counters, PAC hit a German with a bridge for the win. Both men shook hands after the match as the crowd roared. That was awesome. (****1/2)

Blood Warriors hit the ring and beat down PAC and Yoshino. Cima got on the mic and laughed. He said he would win tag titles with Ricochet.

Ronin cut a promo backstage. Taylor said the six man would be different this year. He said they would win. Gargano promised to win.

We are at intermission. The crowd looks much better than last year for DGUSA's WM shows. First half has been absolutely stellar. DGUSA is serving ROH hard right now with their production value.

(5) Danny Steel & Charade vs. Sin City Saints (NO CONTEST). Callihan ran out and dumped the Sin City Saints with a double suplex. Callihan said he was in a bad mood. Cannon ran down and said Callihan was a bitch. He said FU to Callihan. Cannon laid out the other tag team. Callihan and Cannon brawled to the back and the match was ruled a no contest.

PAC cut a promo. He said Blood Warriors had his attention.

(6) Open the Freedom Gate Champion Yamato vs. Austin Aries. Yamato told Moxley to go to the back because he's a fighting champion. Aries hit a Brainbuster for a nearfall. He followed up with a 450 for an even closer nearfall. Hot start! Good drama with Aries's DGUSA career on the line. Aries began working over Yamato's leg. Yamato went under the ring and knocked Aries off the top rope to the outside.

Yamato began working over Aries's leg. Yamato blew kisses to the camera while applying a figure four. Aries reversed it, but Yamato got the ropes. Aries hit a German and sent Yamato to the floor. Yamato tried to sneak behind him again, but Aries sent him to the floor and hit the heat-seeking missile. Aries hit a dragon screw and locked in a leg submission. Yamato countered Aries and got a single leg crab.

Aries escaped, but Yamato got a sleeper and then suplexed Aries for a nearfall. Aries fired back but Yamato hit an exploded to the floor. They battled on the apron and Aries hit a DVD on the apron and the crowd erupted. Yamato hit a double pin and we got a double count nearfall. Both men are down. Aries hit his shin breaker suplex combo. He followed up with two IED's and a brainbuster for a great nearfall.

Yamato countered a brainbuster, but Aries kicked out at one. Aries hit a brainbuster, but Yamato kicked out! Aries kicked out of galleria! Yamato hit two kicks to Aries's head and another galleria for the pin. WINNER: YAMATO. Aries is done in DGUSA. Aries got a huge ovation after the match. Awesome match. (****1/4)

Jacobs cut a promo backstage. He talked about Lee beating him for the second time. Jacobs said tomorrow was about Aries. He said Aries didn't get the job done. Jacobs said tomorrow Aries would burn out. Jacobs said tomorrow was Aries's end time.

(7) Ronin vs. Blood Warriors - six-man tag. Swann rapped Ronin to the ring. Incredible start to this match. Blood Warriors with the heat on Swann. Swann made the best comeback ever flipping over CIMA before nailing him with a dropkick and tagging in Gargano. Ronin with the heat on Ricochet. Fantastic action so far.

Heat on Gargano, but he fired back and tagged in Swann. Ricochet cut off Swann and rolled into a kick to the back. Insane barrage of offense on Swann by Blood Warriors. Swann made a comeback and tagged in both of his partners. The action broke down and Swann slipped on a springboard allowing CIMA to nail him with a sitdown slam. Gargano caught Ricochet with a twisting neckbreaker for a nearfall and the crowd is on its feet.

Ronin with tandem offense on Ricochet and CIMA, but Doi broke up the pin. Doi finished off Swann with the muscular bomb. Ricochet botched his handspring dive to the outside and the finish seemed a little disjointed. The crowd was burned out a bit, but the end was really good overall. (***3/4)

Yoshino and PAC ran down. CIMA got on the mic and told them he would beat then then tomorrow. Yoshino said he and PAC would never give up. PAC then got on the mic and said tonight was a historic night with their first in house ppv. He thanked the fans. Yoshino then thanked the fans and asked the crowd if they liked the show. The crowd went nuts.

Radican's Final Thought: This was an awesome show. The replay is highly recommended.
