PARKS'S TAKE
PARKS: Ten biggest moments from this week's RAW and final Monday Impact

As Impact bowed out of the Monday Night Wars this past week, TNA put on another scatter-shot edition of their show. They didn't completely undo the previous two weeks' good episodes, but they likely didn't leave viewers waiting on their edge of their seats for Impact's return to Thursday nights. As for Raw, Wayne Brady guest-hosted and did an admirable job. The final segment was very hot and got a lot of heat on both Edge and Randy Orton.

1. TNA announces move back to Thursday nights. Many people were surprised at how quickly TNA and Spike TV made the decision to go back to Thursdays. There's no doubt they weren't having much success on Monday nights, but it wouldn't have hurt to give it another month or two. This is especially true because Wrestlemania season is now over, and WWE's ratings usually take a dive (as they are now).

2. John Cena wins Beat-The-Clock challenge, gets to pick match stipulation against Batista at Over the Limit. Cena was about to announce the stip, but he was attacked by Sheamus. We'll get the word this week. Cena had to beat Wade Barrett, while Batista was forced to take on winless Daniel Bryan. Hopefully, this'll be the last Batista vs. Cena match for a while.

3. Rob Van Dam beats Desmond Wolfe in three-minute TNA Championship Match. If there was any doubt that TNA doesn't have main-event plans for Wolfe, this was the clincher. He had been the whipping boy of the Flair group for the last few months, and it's sad to see. Clearly, the fans disagree with TNA's take on Wolfe.

4. Wayne Brady gets RKO'd by Randy Orton. As I mentioned, Brady did a nice job as guest host, including taking an RKO at the end of the night. He sold it relatively well, given that he's a non-wrestler. It looked awkward at first, but he made a nice save. Not the kind of thing that'll get WWE mainstream press, but good use of the guest host.

5. Still no answers from Sting. Sting and Hulk Hogan had their much advertised "summit" in the main event segment of Impact, yet nothing much was revealed. They seemed to talk in circles until Jeff Jarrett came out with a baseball bat. I guess we'll find out more (or not) this Thursday.

6. Mr. Anderson and Jeff Hardy begin to feud. With The Pope out of action for the time being, Anderson needed another dance partner. Enter Jeff Hardy, who came out to defend The Pope when Anderson was ripping on him. Hardy just came off a loss to RVD for the title a few weeks back, and this match-up does have promise.

7. Chris Jericho and The Miz team up to get to Big Show. While I can't help but think they'd be better served in singles action, the awesomeness of a Jericho and Miz tag team could be through the roof. I can't imagine which one of them goes babyface if they break up down the line, though.

8. Eric Young turns heel. This is another one I don't get. He was disposed of by The Band not too long ago, and now he's back with them. Could be a snap decision by TNA if Sean Waltman is truly gone, but I'm not so sure about that. TNA seems to be doing whatever they can to get Young over, even if it doesn't work.

9. Jay Lethal imitates Ric Flair. Lethal was awarded Flair's HOF ring and acted like Flair, rather than Randy Savage, to start the show. And boy, did he do a bang-up job. Even better was his promo when he was "just" being Jay Lethal. They've got something here with him.

10. NXT Rookies get exposure on Raw. Despite losing (again), this time to Batista, Daniel Bryan put on a good show in front of a larger audience than he's used to on NXT. On the other end, Wade Barrett did a serviceable job against John Cena, though he didn't make quite the same impression.
