Having been at Monday night's show, I will say this: the crowd was so hot for the first dark match but got killed pretty quick with the first taped Superstars match. I won't spoil the finish but it was tough to see the crowd go from red hot to near silence with a Divas tag match. The second Superstars match was even more of a buzzkill. At that point, there was a 10-15 minute wait for Raw to start. Now, it's not like I've never been to a live Raw before, so I know how it works, but the Superstars matches and lull between that and Raw zapped the crowd a good bit.
As for Raw, Randy Orton was majorly over and it helped re-energize the crowd. No one know what Meatloaf was doing there and most us were confused. I was hoping that Flavor Flav had canceled last minute but I knew that wasn't the case as I had seem him before the show at the hotel where the Raw roster was staying and shortly before the show outside the loading area to the arena. However, the crowd heat for Vickie Guerrero was major and it was hard to understand the first half of what she was saying because it was so loud in the Igloo. She continues to be able to draw more heat than anyone in the company right now and the live crowd was a great indication of that.
On the other half of the main event scene, the crowd was probably about 70-30 for Cena but those cheering did drown out the boos. Batista was great again in his heel role and Sheamus continues to climb that Raw ladder, stepping up his game every week. The "I Quit" match should be another solid showing for the two at Over the Limit, but I'm still wondering where Sheamus falls into the mix and where he falls onto the card. I'm guessing that he won't have a match but will probably be involved in the finish somehow.
Unfortunately, the crowd really peaked at that point and mostly for good reason. I was not a fan of Flavor Flav and was glad that his role was kept to a minimum. I love that the hosts were stripped of their power but am also looking forward to the full-time GM now that Vicki resigned during her first night on the job. I was extremely happy to see The Hart Dynasty utilized a few times during the evening. The matches involving them and The Miz and Chris Jericho got some decent crowd reaction and was entertaining, albeit short. There was very little crowd reaction to the NXT rookies and Zack Ryder. I was happy to see Daniel Bryan FINALLY get his first win but I think there might have only been a handful of others in the arena that felt the same way as most of the crowd didn't seem to care. It's been sad to watch Bryan's (I hate not calling him Danielson) fall from grace since signing with WWE. On the flip side of this match, seeing John Morrison teamed up with a crew of guys that get jobbed out weekly was tough to fathom. As for Ryder and Evan Bourne, watching Bourne hit the shooting star press on Ryder in person never gets old but other than that, no one seemed to care. Again, this is sad also because if creative had any initiative to push the mid-card, that could probably be a decent feud.
The main event was a decent showing by Orton, Edge, and Ted DiBiase. However, the crowd just seemed to not be into it. Living in Pittsburgh, I sometimes wonder if all live crowds are like this in person for WWE or it's just been a reflection of the product the past few years.
Overall, the show had some bright spots and some parts that weren't too swift. As much as the crowd was up and down, I still enjoyed the show as I always seem to do for live events. Batista vs. John Cena in a no DQ match for the dark match main event was actually entertaining, even if it only went about 7-10 minutes. This is my first time writing for the site on an event that I was actually at, making it a little harder to remember information. I know that perception may be a little different when you're there as opposed to watching at home. With that said, I was still happy with the show despite some of the campy things that came along with it.

Not a particularly memorable show. Nothing terribly wrong with it, although I yawned six times during the NXT Rookie match. Orton's babyface push is getting more intense. Edge is a strong lead heel. Not sure what they're planning with Vickie now that she resigned. This is the type of show TNA could have had a chance against with the mid-card matches involving Ryder, NXT Rookies, Kidd, DHS, and Regal, plus the attempts at comedy with Flavor Flav.

Pretty inoffensive Raw that did some nice things for the mid-card. Orton RKO'ing Meatloaf was bizarre, and I'm glad I got to watch this segment on tape so I could fast-forward through most of it. There was no good, signature match on the show, though the main event would be closest to qualify probably. Vickie Guerrero as Raw GM has possibilities, and cleans up a lot of the questions about the power of the guest hosts.
Not sure what the point of the NXT Rookies match was, other than to keep giving them time on other shows in order to get them over with the WWE crowd for when they inevitably show up on one of the brands. I can't believe how short Tyson Kidd vs. The Miz was. Looks like Zack Ryder and Evan Bourne can prepare for some mixed tag matches on Superstars and the house show circuits. The elevation of Mark Henry and Ted DiBiase on this show was nice to see.
