Since there has been some tragic news since my last update, I'll keep the notes brief and serious. If you didn't read it yet, Ted Petty (Rocco Rock of the Public Enemy) died this past weekend, and I'd like to join all the promoters and wrestlers who have worked with him by passing on my deepest condolences to the family of Ted Petty. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Indy Highlights

3PW. September 21, 2002. South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Hack Myers defeated Sexy Ace Steele. Colt Cabana defeated CM Punk. Blue Meanie defeated Chris Chetti. Josh Daniels defeated White Lotus. Christian York & Joey Matthews defeated Danny Doring & Roadkill. Angel defeated Rockin Rebel. Pitbull Gary Wolfe defeated a last minute replacement to retain the 3PW Championship. Abdullah the Butcher defeated Kevin Sullivan. Syxx-Pac defeated Sabu.

3PW returns to the Viking Hall on October 19th. Already announced will be Jerry "the King" Lawler taking on Curt Henning. Also announced are Syxx-Pac, Sabu and and Gary Wolfe will defend his 3PW heavyweight title.

SDW: Lenny Lane defeated "The Truth" Austin Aries to retain the SDW World Championship.

Sabre defeated Kenny Golden & The Amazing Pookie. Sexy Rex Sexton defeated Dynamite Derrick. LCW Pro-Am Title: Chris Chaos defeated Suicide. ACW Title: Brian Blade defeated The Miami Thug via disqualification.

The next show will be Sept. 28 in Louisville, with the main event being a no disqualification tag team match: Big Daddy Slash and Brian Blade vs. The Miami Thug and Sexy Rex Sexton.

Other matches now announced are Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger versus Monte Brown and Terry Taylor in tag team action. Also scheduled is a six-man tag featuring the Rock and Roll Express and Kevin Sullivan versus Sandman, Chris Sabin and Devon Storm, and mixed tag action between the Rainbow Express and Tracy Brooks and LaFelina. There will be 10 bouts in all.
