-We're still looking for WWE house show results from this afternoon's event in Elmira, N.Y. Send to results@pwtorch.com.
-Last night in Philadelphia, Pa. at Viking Hall, Sabu beat Syxx-Pac in the 3PW main event match. Also, Ron Killings beat Kid Kash, Dusty Rhodes beat Kevin Sullivan, Rockin' Rebel beat Roadkill.
-Tough Enough last week dropped 0.1 to a 1.2 rating, perhaps a sign that a sizable percentage of its viewership are wrestling fans and want more wrestling training footage. It could also be a result of the Smackdown lead-in sentence being smaller by 0.1 - down to a 3.5 from the 3.6 the week before.
-Smackdown for Playstation News - Torch Newsletter subscriber Richard Diaz of Centerville Ohio writes: Just received the latest promo catalog from Amazon.co.uk, the British Amazon, and it features the new Playstation 2 Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth game. What's interesting is the cover. While the U.S. version has (inexplicably) Triple H on the front instead of Brock Lesnar, the European version has The Rock and Hulk Hogan in an intense stare-down reminiscent of their WrestleMania poses.
-Bradshaw was watching UFC Friday night from the front row. He was visible numerous times throughout the PPV, which was held in Las Vegas, Nev. at the MGM Grand arena.
-Mascot Wrestling - Torch Newsletter subscriber Joe Lancello of Huntsville/Athens, Ala. writes: At the Minnesota-Wisconsin football game, Bucky Badger jumped off a ladder to put Goldy Gopher through a table. That was followed up by the Wisconsin cheerleaders (the males) picking up Goldy and running him crotch first into the goalpost - think of the way Jerry Lawler was injured by Austin Idol & Tommy Rich in the famous hair match Lawler lost. Ugly finish to the Gopher game. But then the Gophers have won ugly this year.
-Dusty Rhodes will wrestle Dec. 20 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. at the War Memorial Auditorium against a mystery opponent. Also on the card, Steve "Dr. Death" Williams, C.W. Anderson, Jerry Lynn, Vampiro, Taiyo Kea, E.Z. Money, and Satoshi Kojima.
-Brush with Fame - PWTorch.com reader Tim Clatterbuck of Smyrna, Ga. ran into Scott Steiner. He writes: I ran into (literally ran into) Scott Steiner at the movies on Friday night, and after talking to him for a few, he hinted to a Raw signing, he didn't say for sure. He stated that he wanted to feud with more of the Raw talent. All this happened at AMC 22 on Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw Georgia.
-Speaking of Scott Steiner, PWTorch.com reader Brian Shaw of Chicago writes: Steiner's former valet Midejia is on the Fox Sports Web page in a contest with other lovely ladies to determine who has the best hard body. As in Chicago, vote early and often. Each woman has multiple pictures of them on the page.
-Wrestling Music Heard Elsewhere - PWTorch.com reader Brian Streleckis of Medford, N.J. writes: The trailer for the upcoming movie Biker Boyz, currently online at Apple.com, uses Rob Van Dam's entrance music "One of a Kind" in about half of the trailer. The movie stars Laurence Fishburne and is about motorcycle racing, and the music fit in pretty well.
