-Last night, WWE wrestler Test was a guest on the "New Tom Green Show" on MTV. PWTorch.com reader Jason Kesse of Cincinnati, Ohio writes: Tom Green interviewed him briefly and asked him about the origin of his name, which Test said was given to him by Vince McMahon and is short for "testosterone." He plugged the upcoming Unforgiven PPV in Hershey, Pa. Green asked him about his opinions on backyard wrestling. Test said that it was stupid and dangerous and drove home the point by mentioning Darren Drozdov's paralysis. They then showed some clips of his various matches in the WWE and described some of the moves that were shown. He then had the opportunity to demonstrate some of the moves on Tom Green, including the Boston Crab, the Pump Handle Slam, and the Side Slam. Then Green poked Test in the eyes and Green hit Test with a gimmicked wooden chair and put him in some kind of leglock and made Test tap-out. Funny stuff. Test came off really well as Chris Jericho did last week on the same show.
-Scotty 2 Hotty appeared this morning on Channel 4 morning show RI:SE TV in the United Kingdom. PWTorch.com reader Matthew Kingham of Manchester, England writes: He said he was there to promote the WWE's upcoming tour of Birmingham and Manchester called "Passport To Pain." When asked about where the name "Scotty 2 Hotty" came from he answered: he got the name when he was wrestling as Scott "Too Hot" Taylor, and on Sunday night he just happened to say, "Here comes Scotty 2 Hotty." Presenters Dougie and Kate asked him if he would be kind enough to do a "Worm," and he obliged by performing it on a mat they had got prepared. After he performed he asked did presenter Kate want to do it, she wanted to but couldn't because she had a mini-skirt on. His approximate return date would be around the end of October, because when asked was he going to be appearing at Passport To Pain, he said hopefully he would be fully fit by then.
