WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper says he was not happy with "how he went out" at WrestleMania 25 as part of the three-on-one handicap match against Chris Jericho. Piper was paired with Jimmy Snuka and Ricky Steamboat in the match. Piper says he'll be back "sooner than later" to have a better send-off.

"I wasn't wild about WrestleMania 25 to put it mildly. There's not a chance in hell that that's the last way you're gonna see me," Piper said on the Monday Night Mayhem radio earlier this week. "There will definitely be a return of Roddy Piper...and sooner than later. How many more fights I have in me, I don't know."

Piper said he would like to get in the ring with WWE chairman Vince McMahon, who Piper says acts like he's in shape to wrestle.

"You got Vince McMahon who's done a great job of promoting, who became a bodybuilder, and the last I saw him, I think he's convinced himself he could fight now," Piper said. "I say this...why don't you just put Roddy Piper and Vince McMahon in the ring."

Piper was critical of McMahon's Hall of Fame during the interview. He said it's a shame Ted DiBiase, Sr. isn't in the Hall and said someone like long-time ring announcer Howard Finkel shouldn't be in the Hall.

"You can't make that Hall Of Fame a piece of commercial. Something's gotta be pure. Howard Finkel - I love him to death, but he's not a wrestler. What's he doing in the Hall Of Fame? I'm not knocking Howard, I'm just saying some things have nothing to do with business," Piper said. "It's about your honor, your grace, and your class. And that's what this Hall Of Fame should stay as."

Piper also commented on potential future Hall of Famers, such as Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, and John Cena. He reserved negative comments for Cena based on how WWE presents his character. Cena has said in past interviews that the person on-camera is really himself and not a "character," but Piper criticized WWE's scripting of Cena's actions on WWE TV.

"I think Jeff Hardy is outstanding, not only as a man but as an athlete. "Cena...I think Cena's too company. I don't mean he is personally, I think they whitewashed him too much. I think if they let Cena go a bit, he would do even better than he's doing."

In the interview, Piper also talked about the Bret Hart vs. Ric Flair feud, and briefly touched on his drunk-driving arrest in California. He said he needs to be "keeping on the right track."
