-Collision started for reals with Renee interviewing Moxley backstage. Moxley threw a weird fit, throwing Charis and beating a pallet with a piece of pipe. Renee asked what was going on, and he said he’s dealing with pain. She asked what kind of pain he was in, and he said he wasn’t sure if he could tell the difference anymore. Marina knelt down to give him a pep talk, telling him the only way out is through. He stood up and said he understands “through.”

(2) RICOCHET vs. ACE AUSTIN – Clockwork Carnage qualifying match

Ricochet’s music played and he stepped out with Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona before making his way to the ring by himself. Ace Austin’s music and he made his entrance as Schiavone noted there is no outside interference in this match. The bell rang to start the match 18 minutes into the hour.

Back from break, Ricochet caught Ace with hotshot across the top rope. Ricochet attempted to suplex Austin out of the ring to the floor, but Ace countered, landed on the apron and Ricochet countered it back into the ring, but Ace countered that and set Ricochet on the top rope.

-Renne was backstage with Kyle Fletcher, Kevin Knight, and Don Callis. The Young Bucks were apparently late to the interview, so Renee told Knight and Fletcher it’s impressive what they’ve accomplished. Fletcher said he should be a three-time TNT champion, but Don’s plan has worked to perfection. He said he and Knight have gelled and will win the tag titles. Knight agreed, saying that even though they’re great individually, they’re better as a team. Knight said he’s Jordan and Fletcher is Pippen, while Callis is Phil Jackson. Callis said he managed the Bucks and knows all their tricks. Nick and Matt suddenly blindsided Knight and Fletcher with sudden superkicks. They apologized to Renee for being late to interview but said they’ll be on time on Saturday.

-Justin Roberts said he’s been told to tell the crowd to stand up for the extremely good-looking prodigy, Nick Wayne. Nick Wayne’s music played and he walked to the ring dressed in a black suit as the announcers noted he recently beat Jericho. The ring had a red carpet in it as Wayne took a mic and said that Nick Wayne beat Chris Jericho, and a firework went off on the stage. He said it again and two fireworks went off on the stage. He said it felt good. He said it a third time, and pyro went off a third time, this time followed by flames and Jericho’s music.

Jericho stepped out to the stage as Nick looked around, worried. Nick said to stop the music and told the crowd not to sing (they weren’t). Nick said the people don’t need his music. He said Cleveland needs a reminder how important and legendary his win was and threw to an overly dramatic video of Wayne winning the match, complete with sappy music. Back in the ring, Nick was quite pleased with himself. Nick asked Jericho what he thought. Jericho said he left some parts out, but he’s friends with the editing team, and he made his own video showing how he won. Jericho’s video included the same video but focused on the low blow. Nick said it’s pathetic that he needs an excuse for his loss. Jericho said it’s not an excuse but reality. Jericho said they’re one and one, but the story isn’t over, and suggested having the rubber match Saturday, at WrestleDream. Nick agreed, with the condition that Jericho must apologize to his face if he wins. Jericho asked what he would be apologizing for. Nick said for calling him a douchebag, not saying he’s good-looking, and so forth. Jericho waited for the crowd to get a “you’re a douchebag” chant going. Jericho agreed to that stipulation, because he still has lessons that Nick needs to learn.

Jericho started to leave, but Nick reminded him that he said he came out for two reasons. Jericho paused, and said he’s right. Jericho told Nick he showed him the video so he’d know why he does “this,” as he delivered a kick below the belt. Jericho’s music played as they went to commercial. [c]

-Renee interviewed Ciampa and Samoa Joe backstage. Ciampa said he left Andrade unconscious in Paris and Cleveland. He said same will happen at WrestleDream. Renee asked Joe about the Clockwork Carnage match. Joe said everyone in the match will be choked out and done.

(3) HYAN & DANI LUNA vs. PERSEPHONE & BRITT BAKER

Hyan’s music played and she stepped out onto the stage. Dani Luna’s music played and she joined Hyan on the way to the ring. Britt Baker’s music hit and she stepped out with the yellow towel, swinging it around to the chagrin of the Cleveland crowd. Persephone’s music played and she made her entrance as they showed highlights of Persephone successfully defending her title at All Out. The bell rang to start the match 51 minutes into the hour.

Persephone hit Hyan with a dive to the outside and brawled with Luna at ringside. Persephone stomped away at Luna in the ring before Hyan caught her with a flying crossbody. Persephone caught Luna with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and a shotgun dropkick that knocked her onto the apron. Baker delivered a swinging neckbreaker off of the apron to the floor on Luna as they went to commercial. [c]

They returned from commercial as Luna and Persephone both tagged in. Luna took Persephone down with a few clotheslines. Luna hit Britt with a boot and then Persephone with a shotgun dropkick from the middle rope. Luna berought Britt into the ring with a superplex and then drilled Persephone with a powerbomb stacked into a pin, but Persephone kicked out at two.

Persephone landed a German suplex into a pin, but Hyan had made a blind tag. Hyan charged in with a running knee and delivered a falcon arrow. Hyan held on for the pin, but Britt broke up the pin, choking Hyan with the terrible towel. Luna took Britt down with a clothesline, and Persephone took Luna down with a clothesline as well.

Persephone countered a suplex and made the tag to Britt. Hyan drilled Britt with a spear and made the cover, but Britt kicked out at two. Luna lifted Britt up as Hyan attempted to climb the ropes.
