Hits & Misses

There was blood. And all the wrestlers certainly had guts. HITS WOMEN’S BLOOD & GUTS MATCH They all came to fight and they all came to bleed. This one had it all: Guitars, ukuleles, kendo […]

Opening Segment – HIT: Raw got off to a good start with Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn addressing each other, their history, and their upcoming match at Crown Jewel. Both of them performed well and […]

HITS Giving Agent Zero a dominant, squash win in his first singles match post-Order 4 I believe that there is potential in Agent Zero as a singles act and I’m glad that it seems like […]

HITS JAY WHITE & DAVID FINLEY VS. JON MOXLEY & DANIEL GARCIA (DEATH RIDERS VS. THE CUT) Coming off a big heel turn last week and a new group named (twice) on Saturday, I thought […]

Surprise! You get a two-for-one special today. Instead of one month of CMLL, I’ll be covering two: August and September. I already did a special Hits & Misses for the 93rd Anniversario (go check that […]

Roman – Sami – HIT: This was a fun moment to start the show with a reunion between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn. There was a lot to like about it. Their interplay was strong, […]

HITS Leon Slater’s “thrill of victory” promo This promo was very simple, yet very passionate. It came across as motivated, yet humble and gracious as to how he has gotten to this point. I wish […]

HITS DARBY ALLIN VS. KYLE FLETCHER Of course, they killed it. Well, they nearly killed each other, but what a bunch of crazy moves and spots in this one. I can imagine backstage, both of […]

Bloodline vs. 946 – MISS: It is hard to take this feud seriously when WWE goes over the top with unbelievable angles without realistic follow up. I have been out of action for three weeks, […]

CMLL’S 93rd Anniversario is in the books. It was pretty strong outing from the world’s oldest wrestling promotion featuring two very good matches and a main event that went pretty much the only way it […]

HITS Leon Slater’s resoundingly enthusiastic opening promo and ring awareness Slater just exuded enthusiasm and confidence in his show opening, in-ring promo. His energy is infectious and the crowd is strongly behind him. The only […]
