These are usually roughly 60-120 minutes.
•The Fix Mailbag with Todd & Wade: Wade Keller reads emails from PWTorch VIP members each week that include questions about current events, history, legal matters, off-beat topics (such as “Which wrestling parent/child combos would you most like to sit next to on an airplane ride?”), and whatever else VIP members throw at them. These are usually roughly 60-120 minutes.
•Greg Parks Outloud!: 20+ year veteran pro wrestling columnist and analyst presents a long-form single-topic commentary each week. His themes include reviews of books, WWE specials, evaluating roster cuts, PPV line-up predictions, his annual WrestleMania fashion report, and in-depth analysis of top current events stories. A written version of this podcast appears on page 10 of the weekly PWTorch Newsletter, although Greg will also often add expanded thoughts or other details on the podcast version of his weekly feature column.
•The Nicky’s Club: Longtime PWTorch contributor and podcaster Nick Barbati presents his weekly WWE-focused solo podcast (and occasional shows with a guest interview subject or cohost) giving his views on the latest happenings. Some topics and themes includes analysis of the latest storyline developments, previews and reviews of PLEs, analysis of top stories and controversies, Hall of Fame commentary, and personal notes.
•Sean Radican Worldwide: 20+ year veteran pro wrestling columnist and analyst presents a look at 3-5 top stories that caught his eye that week with signature analysis, plus a special guest (wrestlers, promoters, analysts). The format sometimes shifts to a roundtable review of the latest big New Japan event, as his area of specialty is New Japan coverage (although he has also been a primary reporter on the early eras of ROH and the indy scene over the decades also). These are usually roughly 60-75 minutes.
•Alan 4L’s ProWres Paradise: Alan “4L” Counihan brings his European perspective to his weekly podcasts with an array of special guest cohosts with bespoke wrestling knowledge. His passion is international pro wrestling history and all forms of Japanese wrestling. Examples of the diverse themes of recent shows include a Greatest Wrestler Ever discussion, the Ideal AEW Forbidden Door Presentation, a WCW Nitro 2000 Look-back, 1985 Memphis, the Year 1987 in Pro Wrestling, and a review of New Japan New Beginning. You never know what’s next with this multifarious adventure of pro wrestling talk.
•VIP Podcast Vault: We post podcasts from 18 years earlier on the VIP Podcast feed on a regularly basis including signature shows such as PPV Roundtables, Wade Keller Hotlines (filled with insider backstage news), timeless and immensely fascinating Bruce Mitchell Audio Shows hosted by Wade Keller (with reaction to the news of the week and unmatched history discussions), and more. ABOUT PWTORCH & WADE KELLER
PWTorch’s founder and editor Wade Keller launched the Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter for the first time as a teenager in high school. He grew the newsletter and his sources for news and interviews in the subsequent years, eventually turning it into his full time job after graduating college with a focus on journalism (Macalester College and University of St. Thomas) and interning at a major metropolitan TV news station (KMSP-TV). He also hosted a weekend pro wrestling radio show on KFAN for years in the early 1990s.
Wade’s “Torch Talk” series pioneered long-form insider Q&A style interviews with pro wrestling’s top wrestlers and promoters who opened up about the inner-workings and controversies in the industry for the first time ever.
