Khan said Christian shook off the medical team during the Ladder match at All Out and downplayed his injuries during the early stages of the match match. He said Cage had sustained three broken ribs early in the match and that one of his ribs was broken in three places, but he gutted his way to the finish. He said he is glad to say Cage is going to be okay.
Khan revealed that Cage and Pac would have both been involved in the WrestleDream PPV. He also mentioned that Jamie Hayter and Jay White were also going to be on the WrestleDream card as well, but were off due to injuries. He said he wanted the Brawling Birds to keep momentum going and mentioned he loved their Chicago Street Fight from All Out against Divine Dominion. Khan said later on during the media call that Kris Statlander & Harley Cameron would get a shot at the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship when Hayter returns from her injury. He said all the injuries on the roster pale in comparison to what happened to Ben (Pac).
-Carlos Aguilar with Wrestle Purists asked about Adam Copeland potentially wrestling at The Tokyo Dome before he retires. He noted that The Tokyo Dome is the last venue that Copeland wants to wrestle in that he hasn’t wrestled in yet before he retires. Tony said he will leave that answer between himself, Gedo, and Adam (Copeland). He said stay tuned on that.
