[HOUR ONE]
-Excalibur introduced the show as the camera panned the audience. He hyped the line-up of scheduled matches and segments.
-A promo recorded earlier with Samoa Joe aired discussing putting a bounty on “Hangman” Page. Bryan Keith stepped in and said he wanted to collect it.
(1) PAC vs. DARBY ALLIN
Renee Paquette said in her role as a sideline reporter that Darby told her that in order to move on, he needs to defeat the last member of the Death Riders that has eluded him. She said since returning from injury, Pac has been at a nother level and it almost feels unthinkable he wouldn’t walk away with a win. Pac fist-bumped Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, and Marina Shafir at ringside. Darby attacked Pac and shoved him over the security barricade. Danielson said Pac lied before when he said he was going to beat Darby without help from other Death Riders. They brawled up the steps and into the crowd.
When they fought back to ringside after around five minutes of fighting, Pac threw Darby into the ringside steps. He then threw Darby into the ring and demanded the referee call for the bell. The ref checked with Darby who told him to ring the bell. The bell rang officially 10 minutes into the hour.
Pac landed a running hard clothesline that upended Darby. He kneeled on Darby and scored a near fall. He then slingshot him head-first into the middle rope. They cut to a double-box break at 2:00. [c/db]
At 9:00, Darvy charged at Pac in the corner two times. On the third time, Pac pulled the referee into his path. The ref went down. Darby landed a Scorpion Death Drop. He then applied a Scorpion Death lock. Pac waved for help and then tapped. Yuta entered with a chair. Darby gave him a Scorpion Death Drop. Darby gave a Scorpion Death Drop and then put Pac’s previously injured ankle in a chair. He then landed a Coffin Drop on Pac’s ankle. Excalibur said he destroyed Pac’s ankle. Darby put Pac in a Scorpion Death Lock and the ref lifted his head and saw Pac tap and called for the bell. Excalibur said Darby has now defeated every member of The Death Riders. “Let’s see if this brings him peace,” said Bryan Danielson.
WINNER: Darby in 12:00.
(Keller’s Analysis: I was really expecting more storyline-wise to come out of this, but they told the story here that Darby overcame interference and beat Pac clean, so he’s through with The Death Riders. We’ll see, though, if The Death Riders are done with him.) [c]
(2) “HANGMAN” ADAM PAGE vs. BRYAN KEITH (w/Big Bill)
The bell rang 27 minutes into the hour. Danielson said he hoped Bill didn’t get involved in the match. They cut to a double-box break at 3:00. [c]
Keith got in a stretch of offense. Fans chanted “Lets go Hangman!” Hangman avoided a lariat and set up a Buckshot, but Bill grabbed his boot and then set up a chokeslam. Swerve wrapped a chain around Bill’s neck and punched him with a chain-wrapped fist. Hangman then hit Keith with a Buckshot Lariat for the win.
WINNER: Hangman in 9:00.
-Danielson said he was surprised to see Swerve, but they have been so effective working together. Excalibur said as good as they’ve been as a team, they have competing goals to be AEW World Champion. Swerve entered the ring and Hangman picked up a mic. He called Bryan Keith a dumbass and told him to try to collect that bounty from Joe. He said he’s going to take everything from Joe. Fans chanted, “Swerve’s house!” Swerve said he will come after Joe relentlessly if he is champion. He said it’s been a while since he’s been AEW World Champion, and that’s what “the fanbase” wants to see. He said he is aiming to get back to the top of the mountain. Kenny Omega’s music played and he came out.
He said he was scheduled to come out now, but he thought why not come out early to be part of three of the greatest challengers are standing in the ring. He said it feels like all three of them have something to prove. He said to get a shot at a belt, he can’t be an EVP and snap his fingers and make it happen. He said he has some matches to win first. Hangman said it appears the three of them want a championship. He said if they cross paths on the way to a title shot, he means it sincerely when he says, “May the best man win.” They shook hands. Swerve then walked up to Omega with his arms crossed and stood in front of Omega. Danielson said he didn’t look happy.
Hangman left. Then Swerve and Prince Nana left. Don Callis’s music then played as Omega was about to speak from center-ring. He suggested Omega face “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander. Omega said he could barely hear him over all of the fans, but it sounded to him like he issued a challenge. He said he knows he doesn’t deserve a belt unless he beats some other challengers. He told Alexander he has time tonight. He said if it works for Tony Khan and Don Callis, he’ll wrestle him tonight. “What do you say, Josh?” he shouted. Callis stepped in front of Alexander and said it will be next week on Dynamite “because what I say, goes.”
Omega said the fans were witness to phase one of him becoming their AEW World Champion. He then closed out the interview with his signature “good night bang” closing.
-Excalibur said TK was listening backstage and made it official for next week.
-Renee was backstage with Brody Lee to get comments on Bandido getting a title shot and Brody saying if Bandido won, he’d get the first title shot. MJF’s interpreter Jonathan Cruz told Brody to tell Brody not to touch him. Brody then said he has a “stand by match” with him. John said he wasn’t dressed for a match. Brody smiled as they cut to a break. [c]
(3) BRODY KING vs. JONATHAN CRUZ
Cruz leaped off the top rope and was punched out of mid-air by Brody, who then gave him the Gonzo Bomb for the quick win.
WINNER: Brody in 30 seconds.
-Brody said afterward that he wanted Bandido to kick MJF’s ass and it would be an honor to be his first challenger after he wins the title.
-Ring entrances took place for the four-way tag match.
[HOUR TWO]
(4) THE YOUNG BUCKS vs. GOA (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) vs. JET SPEED (“Speedball” Mike Bailey & “The Jet” Kevin Knight) vbs. MARK DAVIS & JAKE DOYLE
David pinned Knight after a piledriver.
WINNERS: Davis & Doyle in 15:00.
-FTR came out afterward and held the belts in the faces of Doyle & Davis. Davis and Doyle knocked the belts out of their hands and a brawl broke out. Security intervened. Stokely Hathaway was watching from a wheelchair on the ramp.
-Excalibur plugged the main event AEW World Title match and the six-woman tag. [c]
-Excalibur acknowledged the death of Bob Weir from “The Grateful Dead” and said he was close with Tony Khan.
-Scorpio Sky, Dante Martin, Darius Martin, Zayda Steel, and Christopher Daniels were backstage. and talked about a match scheduled for Collision.
(5) KRIS STATLANDER & WILLOW NIGHTINGALE & HARLEY CAMERON vs. THE TRIANGLE OF MADDNESS (Thekla & Julia Hart & Skye Blue)
Thekla pinned Statlander after a Stomp.
WINNERS: Triangle of Maddness in 12:00.
-Renee interviewed Jet Speed backstage. She asked them for their response to coming up short in their match earlier. She said it was a rocky start for them in 2026. Speedball said it’s been rough. Swerve interrupted and put his arms around them and said they haven’t been able to mix it up yet, but when they do it will be fireworks. Swerve said he’d told TK that Knight is the future of the business and his timing will come. Swerve left. Hangman walked in and said they might’ve lost the chance to win the tag titles, but not the Trios Titles. He said he told Joe he’s taking everything from him and that includes the Trios Titles. He said he talked to TK and he got a match with Jet Speed on Collision against The Opps to win the Trios Titles. [c]
(6) MJF vs. BANDIDO – AEW World Title match
Bandido made his ring entrance. MJF made his entrance. After formal ring introductions, the bell rang 47 minutes into the hour. Bandido got in an early flurry of offense and then made a gun gesture with his hand and pointed it against MJF’s forehead. Bandido then pressed MJF above his head and slammed him.
Bandido dominated until MJF knocked him off balance on the top rope at 4:00. They cut to a double-box break at 5:00. [c/db]
MJF controlled the action during the break. Bandido made a comeback and suplexed MJF. He followed up with a tornadoDDT and then pressed MJF above his head again. He held him briefly with just one arm, then slammed him. MJF elbowed him to make a comeback and then stomped on his arm. Bandido side-stepped MJF and sent him to ringside, then landed a running flip dive.
When MJF retreated over the ringside barricade, Bandido leaped off the top rope onto him out there. MJF returned to the ring, but MJF delivered an armbreaker to his knees. Bandido came back with a tornado bodypress off the top rope. Bandido continue with a Maximum Carnage for a two count.
[OVERRUN]
He landed a Shooting Star Press off the top rope at 17:00 for a near fall. MJF scored a two count with a cradle. They leveraged each other’s shoulders down for a series of one counts and two counts. Bandido kneed MJF in the face followed by a 21 Plex. He couldn’t hold onto his bridge, though. BOth were down and slow to get up. Bandido draped his arm over MJF for a two count. MJF then applied Salt of the Earth mid-ring. Bandido almost reached the bottom rope, but MJF pulled him back to the middle of the ring and applied a LeBell Lock. Excalibur said Bandido would not submit or relent. His hand dropped, though, and the ref called for the bell.
WINNER: MJF in 20:00 to retain the AEW World Title.
-After the match, MJF’s music played. While leaning in the corner, he asked to have his music stopped. He said as much as it pains him to say it, he’ll be a World Champion sometime. He said unfortunately that means he “has to do this.” He then leaped at Bandido and “hit” him with his title belt. (It showed a lot of light.) He then indicated he was going to unmask him. Brody King ran into the ring and so MJF bailed out and ran to the back.
