-Order 4 was in the ring for Mustafa Ali’s State of Emergency. Ali complained about Jason Hotch. Ali claimed to be the man of Hotch’s house and that all of Hotch’s family’s belongings were because of Ali. He said that Hotch stabbed him in the back. Fans chanted, “You deserve it.” Ali said that John Skyler can prove his loyalty by agreeing to face Hotch tonight. He said they weren’t fighting over the title, but over loyalty.
-Gia Miller interviewed Hotch backstage. Hotch said Skyler was his best friend and he considered him family. Hotch said he wouldn’t wrestle Skyler. Daria Rae walked in and said that Hotch would face Skyler or be stripped of the title.
(1) RICH SWANN (w/BDE) vs. MR. ELEGANCE (w/The Elegance Brand)
M got on the apron and argued with the referee. Heather used the distraction to DDT Swann and give Mr. E the advantage. Mr. E clotheslined Swann for a two count, then continued on offense. Swann made a comeback with strikes. Swann got a two count after a splash. Mr. E scored another two count. Swann rolled up Mr. E and got the pin. The Righteous walked to the stage and looked on. [c]
WINNER: Rich Swann in 6:00.
(D.L.’s Take: The announcers made a big point that this was Mr. Elegance’s first pinfall loss.)
(2) JADA STONE vs. HEATHER BY ELEGANCE (w/The Elegance Brand)
This was a semi-final TNA Knockouts TV Title tournament match. Jada went for an early armbar, then they traded pin attempts. Heather blocked Jada as she jumped off the top rope. Jada eventually made a comeback and got a two count after a split legged moonsault. Heather missed a double stomp. They traded pinfall attempts again. Jada gave Heather a double stomp. Both wrestlers traded punches on the apron. Heather gave Jada a German suplex on the apron. Jada gave Heather a rana to the floor. They beat the count into the ring. Jada gave Heather a cutter and got the pin.
WINNER: Jada Stone in 8:00.
(D.L.’s Take: A good back and forth match. The Elegance Brand is on a losing streak, which may be leading to something. This sets up Jada vs. M in the finals of the tournament.)
-Elayna Black and Xia Brookside did an interview on a remote call. Xia said that Elayna was desperate for attention. Elayna said that Xia knows her days are numbered. Elayna said there’s nothing she won’t do in her hometown at Lockdown to win the title. Xia talked about beating Lei Ying Lee and Wendy Choo. She said Elayna’s embarrassment would continue at Lockdown in front of her family and friends. Xia left the call. Elayna said, ” I can’t wait to shut this bitch up.” [c]
-Mr. Elegance and Heather whined about losing. The Concierge said they were going to win the tag team titles since Rosemary won’t be at Lockdown. He gave them a pep talk and they all walked off.
(3) FABIAN AICHNER vs. BRIAN MYERS
This match was to determine who would have the advantage in the Lethal Lockdown match. Myers attacked Aichner at the bell. Aichner dropkicked Myers to the floor and followed with a dive over the top rope. [c]
Aichner gave Myers a moonsault for a two count. Aichner gave Myers a DDT from the top rope for a two count. Aichner put Myers in a submission, but Myers reached the ropes to break the hold. As Aichner entered the ring from the outside, Myers kicked him low with the rope and got a two count after a spear. Myers kicked Aichner low and followed with the Roster Cut for the pin.
WINNER: Brian Myers in 13:00.
(D.L.’s Take: Aichner had another impressive showing. The heels pretty much have to get the advantage in a Lethal Lockdown match, so the end result was predictable. But still a good match.)
-The Injury Report featured Jeff Hardy, Lockdown medical personnel, and Nic Nemeth (who is feeling great). [c]
-A video call aired between Harley Hudson and TNA Hall of Famer Traci Brooks. Harley explained that she may be fired if she loses tonight. Traci encouraged Harley and said she believes in her. She said Harley needs to believe in herself and she can be unstoppable. Harley thanked her.
(4) JASON HOTCH vs. JOHN SKYLER
Hotch got on the mic before the match and talked how close he was with Skyler, but both of them are being forced into the match. He asked Skyler to have the match anyway and they could show everyone what TNA is all about. Order 4 was watching in the back. They had a back-and-forth match. Mila Moore walked down the ramp and said Ali wanted Skyler to take Hotch out. Secret Service members surrounded the ring and Hotch fought them off. Agent Zero got in the ring and booted Hotch for the DQ.
WINNER: Jason Hotch by DQ in 3:00.
Mustafa Ali got in the ring, held up the title belt over a fallen Hotch, and said, “In Ali we trust!” [c]
-The Righteous vignette. They focused on BDE. They said he has potential, but Rich Swann is standing in his way.
(5) HARLEY HUDSON vs. ALISHA EDWARDS (w/Eddie Edwards)
Daria Rae sat in on commentary. If Harley lost the match, Daria said her contract would be terminated. Harley went for an early pin attempt. Harley had the early offense. Alisha used a distraction from Eddie to throw Harley into the ring post. Back in the ring, Alisha continued with kicks and punches. Alisha scored a two count. Harley came back with a kick and a series of punches. Alisha took Harley down by the hair and got a two count. Harley caught Alisha with a clothesline and two hip attacks. Alisha gave Harley the Delish and got a two count. Alisha taunted Harley and said she doesn’t belong here. Harley rolled up Alisha and got the pin.
WINNER: Harley Hudson in 6:00.
Alisha attacked Harley after the match. Eddie got in the ring and held Harley. As Alisha was about to attack, Jada Stone ran in for the save and cleared the ring. [c]
(D.L.’s Take: A pretty basic match, but both played their roles well. Maybe this will be the impetus for Harley to be a featured player going forward.)
-A Leon Slater and Cedric Alexander video package recapped their feud.
-Nic and Ryan Nemeth made their way to the ring. [c]
(6) MATT HARDY & JEFF HARDY & MOOSE & ELIJAH vs. NIC NEMETH & RYAN NEMETH & FRANKIE KAZARIAN & AJ FRANCIS
The Hardys team got the early advantage on Ryan. All eight wrestlers got in the ring and fought. [c]
Elijah slammed Kazarian. Moose tagged in and went after the Nemeth brothers. Moose gave Nic the Go To Hell for a two count. Matt gave Nic a Side Effect for a two count. Nic pulled Matt off the ropes. AJ punched Matt and splashed him in the corner. AJ gave Matt a running knee. Matt gave AJ a Side Effect off the ropes. Jeff made the hot tag. Jeff hit the Whisper in the Wind on the Nemeth brothers. Moose did a dive over the top rope onto Kazarian. AJ got a two count on Matt. Matt gave AJ a Twist of Fate. Jeff gave AJ a Swanton Bomb and got the pin.
WINNERS: Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy & Moose & Elijah in 14:00.
(D.L.’s Take: A crowd pleasing match with a clean victory. Kind of an odd way to end a go-home show, but the fans were happy).
-Cedric Alexander was laid out backstage (this was the second week in a row that someone was attacked, so we must have a mystery attacker on the loose).
