SHOW SUMMARY: In our latest episode of Alan4L’s ProWres Paradise, PWTorch columnist Alan4L is back with one of his longest solo efforts yet (multiple recording sessions may have been utilized) and a lot to talk about! After an unforgettable classic to end the G1, Ryohei Oiwa and Yuya Uemura’s efforts deserved a detailed breakdown, and they get it here with nearly 40 minutes of analysis about everything they did in their match and the macro impact it should/may have on pro wrestling and New Japan specifically. After going in depth on the match, Alan discusses where it ranks historically amongst the best bouts. Then with the G1 in the rear view, it was time to start catching up on other wrestling, and there’s a lot! Good and bad from the world of AEW (and ROH) as they march towards Wembley, some excellent Joshi as Chihiro Hashimoto builds her legacy, tournaments in All Japan and Dragongate, and there’s even time for a from-the-vault rec from 1988!
