[HOUR ONE]

-Joe Tessitore introduced the show as a drone flew toward the exterior of the arena and then over fans lined up earlier awaiting entrance.

-A video recap aired of the Money in the Bank happenings including corporate site headlines and live streamer reactions to big moments. They closed with scenes of Penta celebrating.

-They went to Tessitore and Corey Graves at ringside. They commented on the line-ups as they showed arrivals of the Usos & Solo Sikoa, The Judgment Day, Chad Gable, Rey Fenix, and Oba Femi.

-Lilian Garcia introduced Penta who made his entrance. He said he has fought for every opportunity in his life and nothing has been given to him. He said he has earned every opportunity he has been given and he did it one more time at Money in the Ban. He spoke in Spanish. He said with the power of the briefcase, he will cash in and become a world champion. Je’Von Evans’s music interrupted. “This is quite the surpirse,” said Graves. Evans limped out and he had his right arm in a sling.

Graves said Evans is in good spirits, but is still feeling the effects of the damage from being thrown through the roof of the ambulance. “As you can see, your boy is a little messed up, banged up, walking with a limp,” he said. He said they tried to send him home, but he said no matter how badly his ribs and head hurts, there was no way he would miss Raw.

Evans told Penta that if there was anyone who deserves that briefcase this year, it’s him. He said he was proud of him. Fans cheered. They hugged. Bron Breakker entered the ring and speared Evans. “What the hell is wrong with Bron Breakker?!” exclaimed Tessitore. “That’s sickening!” Graves said Breakker isn’t willing to accept the outcome of the MITB match. Breakker smiled as officials ran to the ring to tend to Evans.

(Keller’s Analysis: Good celebration from from Penta after a really good video package highlighting the big moments from MITB. Evans was sympathetic and inspiring. He managed to not get too sappy about being there and he graciously made it more about Penta. Breakker is clearly being positioned as a strong heel opponent opposite of Evans, which is a boost for Evans and a sign of WWE confidence in him, even if he ultimately loses the feud.) [c]

(1) REY MYSTERIO vs. BIG CASS

The bell rang 22 minutes into the hour. Graves said Cass talks big, but he’s always sneak attacking everyone. Tessitore said when Dragon Lee embarrassed him, Cass couldn’t stand it. Graves said he’s dealt with fullies over the years and that’s how they work. He said he’s not the brightest star in the sky, either. (Wow.) Rey slipped Cass’s vision at ringside early and then leaped off the ring apron at him. Cass caught him, but Rey sent him into the barricade.

Back in the ring, Rey dropkicked Cass, but then Cass caught Rey sliding at him at ringside and shoved him into the barricade. He pressed him and threw him into the ring. They cut to a break at 2:00. [c]

Cass was in control after the breat. Graves said Cass is a bully whose greatest weakness could be his ego for not trying to end the match despite dominating. Rey leaped off the top rope with a flying senton. Cass kicked him on a rebound off the rope seconds later. Rey fought back to block a powerbomb and then ducked him as he charged at him. He followed with a 619 to the back of Cass’s head and then followed with a dive through the ropes. Cass caught him again, but Rey countered into a DDT at ringside.

Cass caught a charging Rey with an elbow a minute later. Fans chanted, “You still suck!” The ref, Jessica Carr, admonished Cass after he threw a barrage of elbows at Rey in the corner. She checked on Rey and then told Cass he’d be dQ’d. Fans cheered as Dragon Lee arrived at ringside. The announced played dumb for five seconds until he was shown on the ring apron. He distracted Cass long enough that Rey recovered and hit a 619 and a victory roll for the win. Graves touted Rey’s grit and heart.

WINNER: Rey in 9:00.

(Keller’s Analysis: So what did Cass do wrong? Rey was putting up a fight seconds before Cass was bashing him in the corner, like happens frequently in matches. He broke at three, a couple seconds later went back on the attack and then broke on three. So I guess if you break within five seconds, you’re allowed to do it twice but not three times? Other than that contrivance, the match worked. The crowd ate it up and Rey, of course, is a master of selling for bullies who tower over him and finding a way to prevail.)

-A video package aired on The Bloodline and 946 feud.

-A video aired of The 946 in the dark looking ominous and threatening. Jayda Parker said, “Ain’t nobody safe.”

-Adam Pearce told Chad Patton that he has been assigned to referee the 946 vs. Bloodline main event. He asked if it was punishment. Pearce said he needs a senior official in there. He said he didn’t need him to enforce rules, but try to keep enough order that they get a pinfall or submission and get out of there. Patton said he can do that.

-Tessitore plugged Survivor Series.

-They showed The Judgment Day walking together backstage. [c]

-Tessitore said voting ends tonight for who should be on the cover of the new WWE 2K27 video game.

-Liv Morgan’s music played and she made her entrance, accompanied by JD McDonagh, Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, and Dominik Mysterio. Once they entered the ring, Dom held Liv in his arms as pyro blasted. Liv milked the moment and then told the fans they are in the presence of the greatest women’s world champion of all time. She held the “L” in “all” for around ten seconds. She said she can now focus on being a two-time Crown Jewel Champion. Chelsea Green’s music interrupted and she made her way to the ring.

When Green entered the ring, fans chanted “Chelsea! Chelsea!” She said she didn’t come out there to ruin her celebration, but rather just be face-to-face with her opponent at Survivor Series. She said she admired her tenacity and said, “May the best woman win.” Liv said she wouldn’t shake her “pathetic little hand because hand shakes are for equals and you and I are not equal.” She said she’s not even a fighting champion or a real champion, “but boy are you looking at one.” She said it’s hard to take her seriously because the only thing threatening about her is Tiffany Stratton winning MITB “and she went and injured herself.” She said she doesn’t have much to worry about “from a place-holder champion.”

Green said she’s okay with her underestimating her. She said she’s been underestimated her entire career. She said come Crown Jewel, when the bell rings, she’s be looking up at the lights. She told Liv she will make her respect her. She called Liv “Dominik Mysterio’s placeholder girlfriend.” Perez told Liv to stop embarrassing herself. She said she can’t beat any of them. Green offered to try. Perez said she’d love it tonight. A referee raninto the ring and said it’s official. [c]

(2) LIV MORGAN vs. ROXANNE PEREZ (w/Dominik Mysterio, Raquel Rodriguez, Liv Morgan, JD McDonagh)

They joined the match in progress after the break 51 minutes into the hour.
