SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

PWTorch has learned that Sasha Banks suffered a concussion last week, prompting her to be temporarily taken off TV and house show matches.

The injury occurred in a six-woman tag match last Sunday, May 15 at the house show in Charlottesville, Va.

The information we received is she was accidentally kneed in the head by referee Darrick Moore at some point during the match.

Sasha was originally scheduled for this weekend’s house show tour. She was booked for Friday night in Utica, N.Y. and then Saturday in Reading, Pa. Becky Lynch took her place opposite Women’s champion Charlotte on Friday.

On TV, Sasha has not been in a program since WrestleMania when WWE shifted the women’s division to Charlotte vs. Natalya. On house shows, she had been teaming with Becky Lynch.

On the May 15 show, Sasha teamed with Becky and Paige against Lana, Eva Marie, and Dana Brooke.
