New Japan’s English-language TV series to air on Fight Network

Fight Network announced Monday the acquisition of New Japan’s English-language tape library series to air in Canada, as well as 30 countries across Europe, Africa, and Asia.

The series originally broadcast on AXS TV in the U.S. will premiere on Fight Network on Thursday, July 7.

Episodes will air weekly on Thursday nights in the 9:00 p.m. EST timeslot.

“Fight Network continues to expand its offering of professional wrestling content with one of our most exciting additions to date,” said Chad Midgley, VP of Fight Network. “Our subscribers have demanded this series since day one, so we’re delighted to announce it has finally arrived on Fight Network.”

Fight Network now owns the programming rights for TNA Impact, Ring of Honor, New Japan, AAA and CMLL from Mexico, and ICW and British Weekly Wrestling from the U.K.
