After the Main Event taping, WWE taped this week’s Smackdown…

Smackdown SPOILERS 5/5

– The Highlight Reel started the show. Chris Jericho cut a promo on Dean Ambrose. The boos were loud for the size of the crowd. Sami Zayn was introduced to huge ovation as Jericho’s guest. The Miz interrupted to cut a promo on Zayn, calling him a serial coat-tail rider. Speaking of coats, Jericho said his jacket is worth $15,000. Zayn was unimpressed. Jericho left the ring; Zayn called Miz the biggest shark WWE and Zayn wants a swim.

(1) Sami Zayn beat IC champion The Miz via DQ at 7:40 in a non-title match. Kevin Owens came out four minutes in to join commentary. Miz hit the Skullcrushing Finale into a schoolboy from Zayn, but Miz kicked out. Zayn dove onto Miz onto the floor, then Owens attacked for a DQ. Cesaro came out to even the sides.

(2) The Vaudevillians beat Social Outcast members Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel. Total squash for the VVs winning in three minutes. Afterward, Big Cass came out. Sidewalk Slam to Axel.

(3) Natalya & Becky Lynch beat Women’s champion Charlotte & Emma at 11:25. Becky and Charlotte started, with the heels working over Natty. Hot tag to Becky and she cleaned house. Charlotte pulled Emma to floor, then landed a cheap-shot on Becky to give the heels control. Hot tag to Natty leading to a great finishing sequence. Natty went for the Sharpshooter to Charlotte, blind tag to Emma, Emma hits Natalya, who puts Emma in the Sharpshooter, and Emma taps.

(4) Rusev beat Zack Ryder in 2:00 with The Accolade. Total squash. U.S. champion Kalisto charged the ring with some kicks and punches to Rusev, then bailed.

Goldust & Fandango vs. R-Truth and Tyler Breeze was announced for next week’s Smackdown.

(5) Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows (w/A.J. Styles) beat The Usos (w/Roman Reigns) via DQ. Roman jumped into the ring two minutes in after Anderson took a cheap shot at Roman. After the DQ decision, Styles challenged The Usos and Reigns to a six-man tag (re-match from Raw).

(6) WWE World Hvt. champion Roman Reigns & The Usos beat A.J. Styles & Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows at 8:33 in a six-man tag match. Reigns pinned Anderson for the win.
