8/4 TNA Impact Viewership – DVR Update for Week 3 on Thursday nights

TNA Impact continued a downward trend in Week 3 of the new Thursday night timeslot on Pop TV.

August 4: TNA Impact drew 317,000 viewers, down 9.4 percent from last week’s audience of 350,000 viewers.

Impact was down about 100,000 viewers (23 percent) from the first week on Thursday nights, which drew 410,000 total viewers with a replay included, and the “Final Deletion” episode, which also drew 410k viewers.

DVR UPDATE: TNA added 54,000 viewers from DVR viewing to cut into some of the difference.

The original airing of 317,000 viewers combined with 54,000 DVR viewers produced 371,000 total viewers, down 6.5 percent from 397,000 total viewers on July 28.

– DEMOGRAPHICS: Impact drew a median age viewer of 56.2 years-old, one of the oldest audiences this year.

As a result, Impact drew the third-fewest adult 18-49 viewers of the year with so much of the audience outside of the desired 18-49 window.

Compared to last week’s episode, a18-49 was down 31 percent, males 18-49 was down 33 percent, and females 18-49 was down 27 percent.

The split was 54 percent m18-49 and 46 percent f18-49, with Impact continuing to follow a block of soap opera programming Thursday nights at 8:00 p.m. EST.
