“THE PIRATE FACES THE DYNAMIC”

Now that new NXT Women’s champion Ember Moon sits atop of the division, the path towards her first challenger begins this evening. Her most formidable foe would be the Mae Young Classic winner Kairi Sane who was the only competitor at Takeover that didn’t receive Moon’s dangerous Eclipse finisher. Sane will be in action against the muscle of the Dynamic Duo Peyton Royce, whose efforts in Houston must be commended considering she obviously told her partner Billie Kaye to remain backstage so she could win the title on her own. She came very close several times with a wave of fan support but will she return to her old cheating ways tonight to hand Kairi her first singles loss? She better, otherwise she will be the latest victim of the INSANE elbow.

FAMILY IS FAMILY… BLOOD IS BLOOD”

Way back in September United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne successfully defended his title against Wolfgang on an episode of NXT. After a wild matchup, the Undisputed Era ran in to lay a beating on the big Scotsman and instead of running in to help his fellow U.K. competitor; Dunne grabbed his title and ran for the hills. Trent Seven and Tyler Bate would eventually come to Wolfgang’s rescue, and for a while it seemed as if this incident would go unrecognized.

Think again. In an NXT exclusive we see Bate and Seven call out the “leader” of their faction/division and insist that he find a tag-team partner so they can settle some things inside the squared circle. Who Dunne chooses is a good question but I’d assume someone from the U.K. tournament. However, when or where this match will occur is what remains the real mystery. NXT doesn’t film their new episode at Full Sail until tonight, and I’m uncertain if they already had this match during their road trip building to Takeover. Oh well….guess we’ll find out.

“ALSO…”

-Still haven’t heard from Zelina Vega and new NXT Champion Andrade Cien Almas. It’s been roughly two weeks since the biggest win of El Idolo’s career, and it would be great to have an interview with him and that strap around his shoulder. Also, Drew McIntyre confirmed on Twitter that his arm injury is quite serious. Let’s see if it’s addressed this evening as well.

-The Street Profits have yet to lose on television. They also have yet to squash the beef they created with Tino and Riddick. The sport-car riding, suit wearing, ab-crunching Sabbatelli and Moss look to hand Dawkins and Ford their first loss in a rematch from a few weeks ago.

-While there has been fallout from the competitors of WarGames there has been no clear direction for where they go next. I expect the ERA to eventually challenge for SANITY’s tag-team gold, but I doubt we get any of that angle tonight. Also what of the Authors of Pain? Are they main roster bound, or do they have one more big match in them?

That’s all that’s advertised. Again, a new taping will occur tonight on the road to Philadelphia.
