SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

-WWE is running a Raw-branded live event tonight in Kalamazoo, Mich. with Roman Reigns vs. Elias advertised as the headline match. Then Saturday night, the Raw crew will be in Chicago, Ill. at United Center with Brock Lesnar vs. Kane advertised with a rare Universal Title defense by Lesnar, along with John Cena vs. Roman Reigns. The Smackdown crew is in Moline, Ill. on Saturday night with A.J. Styles vs. Kevin Owens vs. Baron Corbin vs. Sami Zayn in a Fatal Four-way for the WWE Title, plus Bobby Roode vs. Randy Orton for the U.S. Title. If you attend those events, or any others this weekend from any promotion, please send results to pwtorch@pwtorch.com. If you can include any pictures of the arena, the ring, the entrance, and relatively close-ups of wrestlers, we might be able to use them in your report.

-Paul Heyman did post on Twitter that he and Lesnar “fully intend to honor our contractual obligations” regarding future advertised matches. This tends to indicate that Monday’s Roman Reigns promo was not an indication that Lesnar was legitimately having irreconcilable differences with WWE.

-Today’s “Wade Keller Pro Wrestling Podcast” at Podcast One features Keller’s new interview with former WWE Creative Team member Kristian Harloff, who worked for WWE in 2001 and was supervised directly by Stephanie McMahon when she was in her early 20s, and alongside Paul Heyman, Bruce Prichard, Michael Hayes, and Brian Gewirtz. He shared stories from behind the scenes including ideas he pitched, wrestlers he worked with, and how he was treated by other creative team members.
