The usual crowd of 250-300 people in Venice tonight. Alicia Taylor, who just started on this weekend’s shows, and Percy Watson warmed up the crowd.
(1) Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch beat Mansoor & Eric Bugenhagen at 8:05 when Lorcan pinned Bugenhagen after their double-team finisher.
(2) Xia Li defeated Vanessa Borne at 6:42 when Li reversed a roll-up attempt and leveraged a pin.
(3) Babatunde beat Fabian Aichner at 5:14 with a side slam.
(4) Reina Gonzalez & Aliyah defeated M.J Jenkins & Jessie at 4:42. The finish may have come early, as Jessie appeared to kick out of a pin late, but the ref got the count to three and it was treated as a shoot. The babyfaces got their heat back post-match.
(5) Shane Thorne beat Riddick Moss at 9:12 with Bomb Valley Death. Thorne played babyface here.
Intermission – Thursday, January 17 was announced as a return date.
(6) War Raiders beat Brennan Williams & Punishment Martinez at 8:21.
(7) Nikki Cross beat Deonna Purrazzo at 11:12 with The Purge.
(8) The Street Profits & Keith Lee defeated The Forgotten Sons at 12:58 when all there heels were pinned by the babyfaces.
