Pro wrestling fans have always discussed dream matches with other fans. Some of those matches consist of two wrestlers who have never faced each other. Others consist of one wrestler in the company and one outside of the company. A few of them have consisted of two wrestlers that are considered the future of WWE. That’s exactly what’s been building over the last couple of weeks between Bron Breakker and Oba Femi.
After weeks of confrontations, it was announced that the two will face off at Sunday Night’s Main Event on Sept. 6. In anticipation of this upcoming matchup between two young talented wrestlers, the WWE YouTube channel added another video to their WWE Playlist series.
In this video, staredowns between two wrestlers in those dream match scenarios set the stage for their matches. This aims to get fans excited for a match between Breakker and Femi.
This video shows there are always wrestlers coming in and returning, allowing fans’ speculations to come true.
They started with the Breakker and Femi staredown from the Aug. 10, 2026 episode of Monday Night Raw. Even though the declaration of the match happened after this was put together, everyone knew their confrontations would lead to a match.
Another key clip wsa when Roman Reigns and The Rock crossed paths as Rock was starting his Final Boss run two years ago. Even though there hasn’t been a match between them yet, it was a dream confrontation for many fans.

I wish one of the many Brock Lesnar and Femi staredowns from the past couple of months made it in this video. The trilogy of matches were great, and Lesnar putting over Femi as the future directly lead to his current feud with Breakker.
Fans have been speculating for years about certain matches that hadn’t happened for one reason or another, but when those wrestlers actually have a staredown that leads to a match, all that speculation is worth it.
Cody Rhodes confronting Reigns led to a two year battle ending with Cody finally capturing the Undisputed WWE Championship. The Lesnar and Omos staredown set the stage for a colossal clash on night two of WrestleMania 39, where Lesnar won. Jey and Jimmy Uso coming out as the first two in the Royal Rumble two years ago was a huge part of their story at the time.
Now with Breakker and Femi, their meetup will lead to a highly anticipated match between two of WWE’s future stars. This video definitely gave fans nostalgia while getting them excited for that match.
