SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
AEW Dynamite aired on Tuesday night this week on TBS instead of Wednedsday and took a huge hit in viewership as a result, averaging 495,000 viewers over the course of the two-plus hours.
The prior week for the special tribute episode for Pac, Dynamite averaged 899,000 viewers. That was the highest Dynamite viewership numbers in years, although the Nielsen Media methodology has changed several times in the last 12 months, so year over year comparisons aren’t fully comparable anymore. The previous high this year was 796,000. HBO Max viewership data is not included in Dynamite data as it’s not independently tallied or made available.
The ten week average before last week’s Pac tribute episode was 686,000.
