SHOW SUMMARY: On Destination Impact this week, Zac Clarke and Jerud Buhagiar cover the recent news developments in TNA and run down TNA Impact. They discuss the continued lackluster push of Leon Slater since becoming TNA World Champion and how Trey Miguel stacks up as Slater’s first challenger, critique the “Slaughterhouse Syx” match and TNA’s continued reliance on the Hardys, question the introduction of another authority figure in Brian Johnson as a foil to Daria Rae, and provide further analysis on the pros and cons of Shayna Baszler as potential Knockouts World Champion and Indi’s push as champion so far. Also, in the VIP-exclusive aftershow, JB and Zac share thoughts on the future of AEW with Skydance, discuss Queen Aminata’s TBS Title victory and compare Aminata and Persephone’s respective ceilings in AEW, and briefly highlight A.J. Styles as the future booker of NXT.
