NJPW set up the following matches for Wrestle Kingdom 21 on Jan. 4, 2027 during the Power Struggle PPV on Nov. 3:

• IWGP World Hvt. Champion Yota Tsuji vs. Kenny Omega
• Global Hvt. Champion Gabe Kidd vs. Yuya Uemura
• Will Ospreay vs. Callum Newman
• Jon Moxley vs. Shingo Takagi
• MJF. vs. Ryohei Oiwa (for MJF’s “real” AEW World Championship)
• IWGP Jr. Hvt. Champion Yoh vs. Sho (If Sho wins, Yoh’s NJPW career is over, if Yoh wins, Sho has to team with him as his tag team partner)
• Mistico & ??? vs. TMDK (Kosei Fujita & Robbie Eagles) vs. Unbound Co. (Robbie X & Taiji Ishimori) – Three-way match for the vacant IWGP Jr. Hvt. Tag Team Championship
