Roman Reigns (c) vs. Sami Zayn (c) – WWE Crown Jewel Championship match
At WWE Crown Jewel, WWE Raw’s World Heavyweight Champion faces WWE Smackdown’s Undisputed WWE Champion for a chance to win the “prestigious” WWE Crown Jewel Championship. The Undisputed WWE Champion, Sami Zayn, has felt disrespected by World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns who believes that his title is the only relevant one. Reigns claims that he raised Zayn from midcard obscurity because of his association with Reigns’s Bloodline faction. Zayn, for his part, claimed that his involvement with the Bloodline is what made them popular. Zayn needs to win this match to prove that he is a worthy champion while Reigns needs to win to prove that he is still the only champion that matters.
Prediction and analysis: In the midst of lead up to Crown Jewel, Reigns and the Bloodline has been feuding with Royce Keyes and his 946 faction. Zayn has been upset that Reigns has been overlooking him as a result. I think Reigns should lose here, likely due to interference from the 946. This will give Zayn the opportunity to annoyingly brag, while bringing Reigns and the Bloodline closer to their breaking heading to a likely Wargames match at Survivor Series.
Liv Morgan (c) vs. Chelsea Green (c) – WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship match
At WWE Crown Jewel, WWE Raw’s Women’s World Champion faces WWE Smackdown’s WWE Women’s Champion for a chance to win the “prestigious” WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship. The Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan, and her Judgment Day faction have been getting the better of WWE Women’s Champion, Chelsea Green, in their most recent confrontation. Having won the championship (is it still interim?) after the champion Rhea Ripley could not defend the title due to injury, Chelsea’s championship run can be seen as a fluke. Chelsea needs to win to prove she isn’t a fluke while Morgan believes she’s the greatest woman’s champion of “aaaaaaaaaaaaaaall time”.
Prediction and analysis: Waiting in the shadows is Chelsea’s “best friend” Tiffany Stratton who is the current holder of the Money in the Bank contract. She’s tried to cash in on

Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton – Last Man Standing match
Randy Orton was then Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes challenger at WrestleMania. In the lead up to their match, Cody claimed that he wanted the best version of Orton. So, Orton returned to his Viper/Legend Killer ways and began a campaign of brutalizing Cody. Cody successfully defended the title at WrestleMania but Orton head punted him for the trouble then vanished for a time.
Cody then lost the title but had a chance to regain it at SummerSlam. However, Orton returned and cost Cody the match. Orton claimed that he’d always one-up Cody because Cody couldn’t be vicious like him. Orton was proven correct when Cody hesitated during their match at Sunday Night’s Main Event leading to an Orton victory. General Manager Nick Aldis tried to set up a rematch but Ortan initially declined. Cody sweetened the deal by calling for a Last Man Standing match where the goal is to beat up your opponent until he can’t answer the ten count. Orton then agreed. To prove he could be vicious, Cody punted Baron Corbin in the head, taking him out of action after the two had crossed paths.
Prediction and analysis: Cody is winning, but the drama around the match will revolve around Cody’s ability, or inability, to be vicious.
Bron Breakker & Austin Theory (c) vs. Penta & Je’Von Evans – World Tag Team Championship match
In the lead up to Money in the Bank, Je’Von Evans slapped Bron Breakker in the face to show he had guts. Breakker has been brutalizing him since. Penta, who had won the Money in the Bank contract, took a liking to Evans and had come out to help him against Breakker and the rest of the Vision, eventually challenging Breakker and Austin Theory for the World Tag Team Championship.
Prediction and analysis: Get the tag belts off of Austin Theory and Bron Breakker. Theory has bigger things he is destined for and these titles are an anchor. Theory? I meant Breakker. Breakker is who I meant, honest.
