SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...
WWE CROWN JEWEL
NOVEMBER 7, 2026
RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA
STREAMED LIVE ON ESPN UNLIMITED (US) & NETFLIX (NON-US)
Commentators: Michael Cole, Corey Graves
-They showed Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, Sami Zayn, and Roman Reigns arrival clips. Roman was getting out of a private jet. Sami was walking through a hotel lobby. Cody was shown getting out of his bus, so he drove there the “long way” over the (not-yet-melted) icecaps. (Just kidding.)
(1) CODY RHODES vs. RANDY ORTON – Last Man Standing
Cody entered first. Then Orton. Fans sang Orton’s theme with gusto. Orton stood at ringside as a gathering of kids against the railing reached out to touch him or hug him. He stood just out of reach and then gave them a strange look before walking away. Cole said Cody temporarily lost his job in 2014 because he lost a one-on-one match to Orton and he said tonight Orton wants to get rid of Cody forever. Cole said “the last time Cody Rhodes was here, he lost the championship in a Triple Threat match and has not been able to get the title back.”
The bell rang 11 minutes into the hour. Orton took control at ringside. He took the lid off the announce desk and leaned it on the ground, then dropped Cody on it. (Those lids are so flimsy, it’s never seemed like there’s anything threatening about them. They look like they’re made of foam or particle board.) They brawled into the crowd as fans roared with each punch and uppercut.
