SUMMERSLAM Update – Pre-show tag match announced, main PPV match bumped to pre-show

WWE has added one match to the Summerslam pre-show Sunday night in Brooklyn, New York.

The Dudleys will return to their home market against Neville & Sami Zayn in a tag match, which should make for an interesting crowd response.

Also on Friday, WWE officially bumped Cesaro vs. Sheamus to the pre-show to kick off their Best-of-Seven series.

There are now ten matches on the main PPV and two matches on the pre-show.

Another matter to be resolved is a replacement for Eva Marie in Smackdown’s six-woman tag match, which is listed for the main PPV.

  • Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton
  • WWE World Hvt. Title match: Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler
  • WWE Universal Title match: Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor for new title
  • A.J. Styles vs. John Cena
  • Women’s Title re-match: Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte (w/out Dana Brooke – banned from ringside)
  • U.S. Title match: Rusev vs. Roman Reigns
  • Tag Title match: New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. The Club (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows)
  • Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens vs. Enzo Amore & Big Cass
  • IC Title match: The Miz vs. Apollo Crews
  • Smackdown Women’s Division: Natalya & Alexa Bliss & (replacement for Eva Marie) vs. Becky Lynch & Carmella & Naomi in a six-woman tag match
    • Pre-Show: Cesaro vs. Sheamus – Best-of-Seven Series Match #1
    • Pre-Show: The Dudleys vs. Sami Zayn & Neville
