WWE Raw TV News & Notes 9/12

– Kevin Owens beat Roman Reigns in the TV main event to prevent Reigns from being added to the Universal Title match at Clash of Champions. Included was U.S. champion Rusev resuming his feud with Reigns by interfering late in the match, leading to the finish.

– Sasha Banks retained her spot in the Raw Women’s Title match against Charlotte at Clash of Champions by beating Bayley and Dana Brooke in a contendership match.

– Cesaro beat Sheamus in Match #5 of their Best-of-Seven Series to make the series 3-2 in favor of Sheamus.

– Chris Jericho and Sami Zayn formally started a feud centered on Kevin Owens. This will lead to a singles match at the Clash PPV.

– Jack Swagger began a “contract issue” storyline after losing to Jinder Mahal. The story is Swagger’s “Raw contract” is coming due soon.

– Mick Foley was the only authority figure to appear on Raw. Stephanie McMahon was not on the show and Triple H remained off TV for the second consecutive week since helping Owens win the Universal Title in Houston.

– Announced for next week’s show is the Raw TV debut of the Cruiserweight division. No specific wrestlers or matches were advertised.
