Smackdown Rating: The ratings drawing power of Mr. McMahon tested, what the results were (w/Keller’s Analysis)

SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Smackdown on Tuesday night on USA Network drew a 1.93 rating among live and same-night-DVR viewers. Total viewership was 2.754 million. The 1.93 rating was up substantially from the 1.74 rating of the previous two weeks and was the highest rating fro Smackdown since Apr. 11, right after WrestleMania. It’s also well above the 1.76 average so far in 2017 and the 1.75 rolling ten week average.

Keller’s Analysis: Call that the Mr. McMahon factor. Advertising him a week ahead of time on Smackdown and noting his scheduled appearance on Raw the night before drew a larger than average audience. It’s also possible some viewers who skipped Raw to watch Monday Night Football the night before got their “WWE fix” on Tuesday instead.
