“STICKS AND STONES MAY BREAK YOUR BONES BUT WORDS ARE CONTROVERSIAL”

After a long week of arguing with numerous “fans” regarding the bad taste the Jinder Mahal promo left me with last week, I was more curious to see how the WWE Champion would respond tonight. According to their website, he may not only address the controversial segment, but double-down because he just dislikes Shinsuke Nakamura that much. Whatever the case the show must go on. Shinsuke has already claimed that the words spoken by Mahal had no effect on him, and in two weeks he’s going to take the heavyweight championship away from Jinder. We can only hope Shinsuke…we can only hope. As for tonight, look for the artist to gain some momentum as we inch closer to Hell in a Cell.

HELL WON’T SAVE YOUR FATHER SHANE”

Whether you like him or not, Kevin Owens delivered a MASSIVE statement when he utterly destroyed Vince McMahon a couple of weeks ago. A stiff headbutt left the old man bloodied and a top rope bullfrog splash will send him to the sidelines for who knows how long. (Kayfabe obvi.) Shane McMahon is anxious to get his hands on K.O. after what he did, but Owens knows how to manipulate feelings better than anyone in the world. (And I’m not just talking about wrestling.) Last week he responded to Shane via satellite claiming and gave probably the fakest apology one could ever fathom. Shane will be on the mic tonight in Glendale, and I’m sure he’s got a lot more to say before these two clash in a cage.

STRIKE THAT… REVERSE IT.”

Just when you think WWE had run it’s course with tired feuds, they up and go give us another recycled storyline. After Smackdown Women’s Champion held a celebration of women (where she only really celebrated herself) General Manager Daniel Bryan set up a Fatal-Five way between the rest of the division to determine a new number one contender for the Queen of Neidharts. Who would emerge victorious? Natalya’s old nemesis Charlotte Flair. These two have quite a history facing one another, but in the past it’s been Charlotte as the heel champion and Nattie as the chaser. This time…the roles have been swapped. Expect one of them to be in action tonight before they meet once again in the squared circle.

WE AIN’T HYPED NO MORE

-After suffering another defeat, this time at the hands of the newly formed American Alpha 2.0, Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley don’t appear to be as happy teaming together as they use to. Mojo even when as far as to say that something drastic needs to change. I’m all on board for a Heel Hype Bros.

-Speaking of tag-teams, the New Day are once again your W…W…E…WORLD…TAG….TEAM….CHAMPIONS. As they continue to put on classic after classic with the Usos one can understand why they are planning on finishing this thing once and for all at HIAC. The question is, who will gain the upper hand in the meantime? Also CLICK HERE to watch the promo they have for this matchup. I’ve watched it 1000 times because it’s EVERYTHING A GREAT VIDEO PACKAGE SHOULD BE.

-United States Champion A.J. Styles was supposed to defend his title against the Lone Wolf Baron Corbin in Oakland last week, but the Perfect Ten Tye Dillinger saw that as an opportunity to exact some revenge. If you know Corbin, he wasn’t too happy about that. He and Tye will face off again tonight.

-Rusev is still feeling the embarrassment of his eight-second Summerslam loss to Randy Orton, but thanks to an assist from Aiden English he defeated the Viper in the same amount of time! Now the Bulgarian Brute will celebrate his triumph with a Bulgarian Celebration! Rusev MOTCHSKA!!!!!

-Dolph Ziggler hates entrances so much that he keeps mocking superstars who were way more popular than he’ll ever be. This is all eventually leading to a showdown with the Glorious One Bobby Roode, because it’s the greatest entrance in the history of the sport.

-205 Live, or the ZO SHOW should actually be an interesting watch tonight, especially considering the events that ended Monday Night Raw. Oh, and just as a little treat, I added another video of what happened after Raw went off the air, when Braun Strowman and the rest of the cruiserweight division picked up where Neville left off and kicked the ever living sh*t out of the realest guy in the room.

Two weeks until Hell in a Cell. Let’s turn it up a notch team blue.
