SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

-The ESPN “30 for 30” documentary on Ric Flair on Tuesday night drew 1.831 million viewers, which is a strong rating for a non-sports telecast on ESPN. Smackdown, by comparison, drew 2.60 million on USA Network right before the special aired. Among the key M18-49 demo, they drew 904,000, the highest viewership among that demo on Tuesday night.

-WWE has announced John Cena vs. Samoa Joe for the Dec. 26 house show in New York City, N.Y.  at Madison Square Garden in addition to the six-man tag team main event of The Shield vs. Bray Wyatt & Sheamus & Cesaro and Braun Strowman vs. Kane, plus Finn Balor, The Miz, Matt Hardy, Enzo Amore, Sasha banks, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, and Asuka. -Reigns is back on Twitter. other than two retweets of WWE Network programming plugs, Reigns had been inactive on Twitter since Oct. 18. Yesterday that changed, as he got into it with Big E. The Shield will be facing New Day at Survivor Series, barring a change of plans. The New Day have been presented as the leaders of the Smackdown locker room invasion of Raw, and they (inadvertently) cost Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose the tag team titles, so there’s plenty of reason for The Shield to unit to represent Raw at Survivor Series against New Day.
