Attendance around 10,000

(1) Woken Matt Hardy defeated Bray Wyatt in 13:00 with a Twist of Fate.

(2) The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) defeated Rhyno & Heath Slater and The Club (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) in triple threat tag team match when Sheamus won with the Brogue kick on Rhyno. Slater took a majority of the punishment in this match.

(3) Cedric Alexander pinned Drew Gulak in 16:00 with the Lumbar Check. Prior to the match, Drew cut a laboriously boring promo on how he wants to make a better 205 Live. The crowd was dead for the promo and match.

(4) Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) defeated Kane in 4:00 to retain the Universal Title after delivering his sixth duplex of the match followed by an F5. Midway through the match, Braun Strowman appeared and powerslammed both competitors to a huge pop.

Intermission

(5) Goldust pinned Curt Hawkins in 7:00.

(6) Elias beat Finn Balor. Before the match, Elias cut a great heel promo degrading anyone who refuses to acknowledge his guitar skills. He asked his trademark question: “Who wants to walk with Elias?” The fans responded with a chorus of boos. As Elias began singing a song designed to denounce the city of Baltimore, Balor’s music started. Balor grabbed a microphone and said that Baltimore is Balor Country. Elias went on to defeat Fin in 11:00 with a modified suplex.

(7) Jason Jordan & Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns defeated The Miz & The Miztourage in 20:00 after Roman speared Miz. Both Seth and Roman refused to tag Jordan, who never officially entered the match. However, Jordan came in to break a pin attempt on Seth and thwarted off interference from the Miztourage. This was a very good main event. Miz cut an excellent promo prior to this match stating he would win the Royal Rumble and once again headline WrestleMania.

BIGGEST POPS…
Roman Reigns
Seth Rollins
Fin Balor
Brock Lesnar
Braun Strowman

MOST HEEL HEAT…
The Miz

FINAL NOTES: Surprisingly, the women were noticeably absent on tonight. As with the Smackdown Live show in Richmond, there were no women’s matches. However, the video clip of Stephanie McMahon’s original announcement of the first-ever Rumble was shown. Overall, this was a solid show.
