  1. What Hogan said was disgusting. But we have to remember, “Hulk” didn’t say that, Terry did. I think we have to separate the character from the actual person. Steve Austin beat women, which is much worse than saying words, no matter how racist those words are. Michael Hayes said racist words in public, not private. Road Warrior Animal tweeting very racist things, and then blamed his spell check for it. Warrior, HBK, most of these guys are scumbags in real life. And on top of all that, Triple H and the entire McMahon family were happy to support Trump and join him for a photo op. Linda even chooses to work for the Trump administration. Not even getting into actual policy, Trump has spread as much hate and fear of minorities as anyone. And if we’re going to be offended by Hogan saying what he did, then we have to reconsider our entire fandom since the McMahons own the sport, and they choose to support the same man that the “very fine” neo-nazis support..

That being said, I don’t think Hulk ever needs to be on TV again. They should sign him to a merchandise contract so they can include him in video games and sell his action figures and t-shirts and DVDs, but he never needs to be seen live on screen again. If they do a career retrospective DVD or a documentary for the network, and they want to end it on a happy note, his gig hosting WM30, that birthday celebration they gave him on Raw, or that banner night in his honor at MSG would all be a fine bookend to his career, they can end it with any of those.
