SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

David Starr’s controversial promo, which was critical of ROH and its parent company, Sinclair Broadcast Group, ahead of his match against ROH World Champion Jay Lethal in Israel next month was taken down last week due to pressure from Sinclair according to IPWA promoter Gery Roif. Roif told The Jerusalem Post that he was forced to pull the promo due to Sinclair censorship. Roif’s statement has since been pulled from The Jerusalem Post article on Starr’s promo, but should be viewable here.

Starr is scheduled to face Jay Lethal for the ROH World Title in Israel next month in IPWA. Last week, ROH issued a statement to PWTorch saying it was IPWA’s choice to have Starr pull the promo.

    • The whole term “woke” annoys me. It’s really not even the proper use of the word. However, I do agree with you the fake SJW’s are very annoying. The world continues to be dumbed down, and we are probably going to see more and more of this type of thing. Btw, I am quite a wrestling fan and have never heard of David Star. I guess he is just trying to make a name for himself and failing?
