CM Punk return date reportedly set

SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

C.M. Punk was announced for Starrcast III today by Starrcast. Punk will appear at Starrcast and be part of an interview panel during All Out weekend. Last year, Punk appeared at a signing for Pro Wrestling Tees during “All In” weekend, so this is his first appearance at Starrcast.

Radican’s Analysis: Kudos for Conrad Thompson for getting a big name for Starrcast that WWE shouldn’t be able to pull from the events, as I don’t see Punk working with WWE anytime soon. If Punk’s interview panel ends up being a PPV on Fite TV, I can see that doing huge business during All Out weekend.

Starrcast is separate from All Out, but that won’t stop rumors from swirling about Punk and AEW. I haven’t heard anything either way, but I have been told that AEW is definitely interested in using Punk if he were interested in coming back to wrestling.
