Raw Rating: Post-Summerslam episode draws the second-best rating since the post-WrestleMania episode, still down year-over-year

Last night’s post-Summerslam episode of WWE Monday Night Raw drew a 1.92 rating, up from last week’s 1.72 rating, and the second highest rating since the day after WrestleMania; Raw Reunion drew a better rating – 2.12 – four weeks ago.

The first hour drew 2.772 million, followed by 2.820 in the second hour, and 2.595 in the third hour. It experienced a modest drop-off of 177,000 (half the yearly average) from the fist to the third hour.

One year ago Raw drew a 1.92 rating. Two years ago it drew a 2.12 rating.

Raw’s viewership in the key 18-49 adult demographic topped tables top three spots on Monday night, with ratings of 0.9, 1.0, and 0.9. “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” on VH1 drew a 0.7 rating to finish in fourth place. Two shows drew 0.6 ratings, and then “Straight Up Steve Austin” finished seventh with 1.211 million viewers and a 0.5 rating.

Two prime time Fox News shows drew more viewers than Raw among all viewers.
