Let the battle for brand supremacy begin as the doors of NXT will be open for the superstars of Raw and Smackdown just days before Survivor Series. Plus, NXT Champion Adam Cole and Dominik Dijakovic will compete in a Ladder Match to see who gain momentum in the Men’s WarGames match. Expect another exciting and action-packed night of NXT as Mauro Ranallo, Nigel McGuiness, and Beth Phoenix will call the action live from Full Sail University on the USA Network as we are just day away from NXT Takeover: WarGames. Let’s take a look at what’s currently advertised for tonight’s show.

  • Will Raw or Smackdown wrestlers take Triple H up on his offer?

Matches and Segments announced for the show

Dominik Dijakovic and Adam Cole to battle in Ladder Match for WarGames advantage

The advantage for the Men’s WarGames hangs in the balance as NXT Champion Adam Cole will face Dominik Dijakovic in a Ladder Match. Dijakovic made his presence felt as he came to aid of Tommaso Ciampa and Keith Lee and laid out The Undisputed ERA. The question will Dijakovic stop Cole’s momentum and give Team Ciampa the momentum heading into NXT Takeover: WarGames?

(Amin’s Analysis: This should be a great match as both Cole and Dijakovic are amazing wrestlers. I would expect Cole to win because the heel team should have the advantage in a WarGames match. I’m interested to see who will be final member on Team Ciampa and if they will announce it tonight on NXT?)

Will Raw or Smackdown take Triple H up on his offer?

Following a chaotic brawl which saw the wrestlers of NXT standing on Raw. Triple H issued a challenge to both Raw and Smackdown and said the doors too NXT are open. The question is will the wrestlers of Raw and Smackdown accept Triple H’s offer and appear on NXT?

(Amin’s Analysis: This will be interesting to see how many Raw and Smackdown wrestlers appear and if this leads to matches on tonight’s NXT show? The build to Survivor Series has been more exciting this year with NXT’s involvement, but I would like if they added more stakes instead of just battling for so-called brand supremacy. My ideal scenario would be for NXT to win at Survivor Series and for WWE to show NXT is the main roster.)

The Undisputed Era take on The Revival in tag team action

Last Friday, The Undisputed Era crashed the Smackdown Tag Team Championship match as they attacked both The New Day and The Revival. After costing The Revival a chance at the gold, Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder didn’t take kindly to The Undisputed Era as they remind them who build the division. The Revival will be looking for revenge as the former two-time NXT Tag Team Champions return to NXT tonight and will take on the current champions Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly. The question will The Revival once again show everyone why they are the Top Guys or will the Undisputed Era continue to shock the system?

(Amin’s Analysis: This should be a terrific tag match between two of the the best teams in all of WWE. I would like to see feud go past Survivor Series and see The Revival come back to NXT and show why they’re one of the most talented tag teams in professional wrestling.)

The Big Takeaway from last week’s show

With the help of NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray, Io Shirai defeated Mia Yim in a terrific ladder match to gain advantage in the first Women’s WarGames match. Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley got a bit of revenge as she attacked NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler. Finn Balor will face Matt Riddle at NXT Takeover: WarGames.

Overall Thoughts

This should be another great episode of NXT as I would expect superstars from both Raw and Smackdown to make an appearance to build up the Survivor Series PPV. It will be interesting to see how this plays out and who joins Team NXT for the traditional Survivor Series matches. Apart from brand supremacy, I would like if they explain why members of NXT will team up after potentially going after each other at NXT Takeover: WarGames.
