Seth Rollins will be in action at WrestleMania 38, Vince McMahon to decide opponent

After weeks of drama, Seth Rollins will have a match at WrestleMania 38.

On Monday, Rollins had a meeting with Vince McMahon, who told him that he would have a match and that it would be his own main event. On Monday Night Raw the last two weeks, Rollins lost matches that would have earned him at shot at the WrestleMania card.

“If you were in it, it’d have to be your own main event” McMahon said. “It wouldn’t work any other way. Your own main event. So, Seth “Freaking” Rollins is going to WrestleMania. Your opponent will be of my choosing and you’ll know your opponent when he’s in the ring and introduced.” Rollins celebrated in Vince McMahon’s office after shaking his hand.

The video and meeting did not reveal which night of WrestleMania Seth’s match would talk place on. Circulating rumors throughout the last couple weeks indicate that the returning Cody Rhodes is in line to be the Rollins opponent with Rhodes officially appearing at WrestleMania.

WrestleMania 38 takes place on April 2 and April 3 from Dallas, Texas. The event will stream live on Peacock both nights and features Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the Undisputed World Championship, Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship, Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship, A.J. Styles vs. Edge, the KO Show with Steve Austin, Austin Theory vs. Pat McAfee, Logan Paul & The Miz vs. The Mysterios, Johnny Knoxville vs. Sami Zayn, and more.
