WWE Smackdown pulled in 2.1 million viewers on average during Friday’s show and a .48 rating in the key demographic of adults 18-49. The rating is down from .60 the week prior.

Friday’s Smackdown featured an appearance from the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions, RK-Bro. Randy Orton and Riddle opened the show and then were confronted by the Smackdown Tag Team Champions, The Usos. The Usos challenged RK-Bro to a tag team championship unification match at WrestleMania Backlash. Orton and Riddle accepted the match and then solidified the main event for the night in Riddle vs. Jimmy Uso. Riddle defeated Jimmy Uso after Jey Uso and Randy Orton got involved in the match. Riddle hit Jimmy with an RKO to win the match.

Other matches on the show include Rhea Ripley vs. Naomi, Jinder Mahal vs. Ricochet for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and a segment between Charlotte Flair and Drew Gulak to hype her “I Quit” Match against Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash.

Last week was the post-WrestleMania edition of Smackdown and featured Roman Reigns and Ronda Rousey. In addition, Gunther, formerly known as Walter in NXT, made his main roster debut. Matches included Sami Zayn vs. Drew McIntyre and Liv Morgan vs. Sasha Banks in the main event.
